Sounds like he really is leaving on good terms, on his terms, and at peace. Good for him, wish we could all say that when we leave our jobs.

I don’t get why they wrote tonight the way they did if he’s really leaving.
Oh god Lashley is feuding with Seth

Dude put over Seth, Roman, and the fans on his way out. Class act. True professional.

I'm watching now and God I already miss Ambrose. My favorite guy for a couple years there and to this day I'm still bitter over the Brock match at WM 32, when he was the most over face in the company. I think part of the reason his heel turn didn't work was because he's just such a likable dude.

Dude put over Seth, Roman, and the fans on his way out. Class act. True professional. Along with Lashley, McIntyre and Elias too. Prior to EC3 screwing up backstage Ambrose put him over too. Ambrose put over all these guys and yet he's leaving. He's a real professional.

This is 100% not directed at anyone specifically or even anyone on these boards necessarily, most of you are cool, but it's a nice steaming hot humble pie for all the overbearing social media fans who made fun of people for being "worked" by the "storyline" of Dean Ambrose leaving. Dude's gone, you're not the smartest guy in the room, enjoy the pie.
Anyway, I'm exciting that he's leaving, because if he feels that strongly about his performance and his passion for this, he's capable of so much more somewhere else. I loved him during the original run of The Shield and the aftermath of its initial collapse, but he lost me along the way after that. I know he's awesome, so if he really does wind up in AEW, he'll be a huge asset with a fresh start there.

What happened with EC3? Rumors said he had backstage heat. Who know if he does. I just thought it was funny that he beat Ambrose one week and the next week Ambrose beat him.

What to say, what to say. I remember when Shield debuted. Rollins I immediately saw as the worker on the team, Roman as Vince’s new great love for the business. But I didn’t get Dean, not at first. All I could think is what is up with this guy, what makes him tick. What I learned to love was what a throw back he was to Attitude, a solid worker, great on mic and not afraid to make us all think he had lost his mind with some of the spots he took. I have a lot of great memories of Dean. That first HITC match with Rollins with his “We’re all gonna die!” scream as he began to scale the cage. His working with Miz and Maryse pretending to be Cena and Nikki until Miz dropped the act. Dean just goes “Ohhhhhh... well, in that case...” and the murder commenced. The really underrated run he had as WWE Champion and the matches he had with Rollins and AJ. I’m still mad about Brock leaving him out to dry at Mania when he busted his ass to put the match over. But I have to embarrass someone when it comes to Dean and I really hope she will forgive me for it. One of our own loves Dean not just as a talent but as someone who has helped her be tough in difficult times. I won’t tell stories out of school but when a plush doll of Dean Ambrose is what helps you get over the hill, damn, you know that guy is important. Maybe not your guy, but you are going to pull for him like mad so he can be the best he can be for someone else. All I can say now is he may be gone, but the difference he made can last and continue for as long as it can inspire. Don’t ever forget that, edgestar. I know this is hard and I hope especially for you that he may come back, but for now, keep letting him be whatever you need to be who you are. And that’s really all I got. I’ll miss him terribly, but it is probably best for him to close down the Asylum and go be Renee Young’s husband. Maybe he will come back to play with his boys, but if he never does, what a hell of a ride it’s been. Thanks, Dean. For everything you gave each and every one of us.

It's a testament to his ability that he did so much goofy nonsense with so much conviction that you'd think he loved it when apparently he hated it. I really wanna see him do things he wants to do because I'm sure it'll be awesome.

WWE just uploaded the full video of this on their YouTube channel. Dean seems like he’s leaving on his own terms. It reminds me of when Christian left in 2005. It seems to be on good terms, and I think he’ll be back in a few years. Best of luck to Ambrose!!!

Mentioning no names, are you referring to one specific overbearing social media 'fan' in particular?
