Dasha Fuentes released By WWE

Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned Dasha Fuentes was released this week from WWE.

The reason for her release is unclear, but Dasha was in New York City for WrestleMania Weekend.

Dasha initially joined WWE’s developmental system in 2014 as a wrestler, but became a member of the NXT broadcast team the following year. She had recently been appearing as a backstage interviewer for SmackDown Live and 205 Live.

Dasha has yet to comment on her release from WWE, but she shared a video on Instagram saying “it’s been an interesting couple of days” and that she’s going on a non-work related trip.

She always blended into the background more than most.

I remember one time she sounded legit sounded like a pre-programmed robot.

And the fact that she’s more jacked than basically every female superstar.

Dasha seems like a great person and everything, but she was easily the worst of the current crop of interviewers. She could be very clunky and prone to botching names.

Honestly, Cathy and Charly are the only ones anyone could really care about. The rest are fairly anonymous. Kofi was interviewed by some blonde woman I've never seen before, at Wrestlemania. No clue who she is.

I mean... I hate to see anyone lose their job and hopefully she'll get back in the swing of things right away, but she was really nothing special as an interviewer. The only good ones they have are Charly and Renee and Renee doesn't even do them anymore.
