I know it’s probably only for this week, but what’s with all the stars just appearing at random shows for no real reason? I mean if the superstar shakeup is next week, wouldn’t you want to keep your stars on the same show one last time? It kind of irks me because they were doing so good with keeping the brand split intact from its inception till a couple weeks ago when rey and joe came to raw and Kurt was on smackdown

In order to going back to not taking the brand split seriously one must have taken it seriously in the first place

They're trying to hype up the Shakeup by showing different possiblities.
"Holy crap, New Day feat. WWE Champ Kofi on Raw?!" "Oh my God, Braun on SDL and facing Joe! I didn't know I needed that until now." "What is going to happen with Lacey Evans and the rest of the forgotten NXT call-ups"
This is way it usually is around Mania anyway. Debuts, people jumping brands, and call-ups lasting until a few weeks after.

Honestly, never been a fan of a hard brand split.
As long as guys don’t have to work both shows in one week, then that is as much of a brand split as I think is needed. I also would unify the belts and rotate which show the champ defends on month to month (keeping the IC and US titles brand exclusive).
The only benefit of the brand split is giving people more TV time who wouldn’t otherwise get it. That can still easily be achieved without a hard brand split. Two world champions in my view has no benefit as all it does is devalue both belts.
Becky is now the Man - and this is something that makes such a statement and makes things as clear as they should be. Let’s just do that across the board.

I agree, and especially if there’s one woman’s title there should be one male one, but it’s either do a hard split or do the one champion across the board thing, I don’t like this wishy washy shit they do with stars appearing on other brands for no reason

In their defense, that Joe/Strowman showdown was pretty awesome:

Everybody’s in a holding pattern, because you can’t really start any new feuds because they probably still haven’t decided on who’s going where in the draft. So they just kinda said “f*** it” and booked SuperShows this week. After the draft, I imagine they tighten up the brand split again

I'm a big fan of the hard brand split, but yeah, pretty much just them wanting to give people the impression anyone can be going to any show during the shakeup. Like, I definitely didn't expect Braun to interrupt Joe.
