Given all of this WWE creative talk lately we need to revisit the words of Ambrose the Wise. Legend has it these words were recited late last year.

The thing we have to remember is that we can’t paint every talent with the same brush and project our own beliefs and expectations as fans onto them. They all have their own reasons for why they might want to stay or why they might want to leave that aren’t necessarily compatible with our perception of their booking.

That's a big thing I've seen lately. A good amount think it's all about a superstar being at the top of the totem pole and being seen as the best when nah, not everything is about that and not everyone is for that. Some superstars just don't care about that as long as they get more creative freedom and their roles are exactly as they want them to be. Not everybody wants to be a John Cena.

Dean also had a lot of struggles getting his career off the ground (and even blowing a WWE chance early in his career) that has led to him always appreciating how much fun wrestling is so his view is not always universal.
But Dean is also someone who likes a challenge so it's not only the art of wrestling it's how challenging it is. I dont think he was feeling challenged in WWE anymore.
But overall his message is a good one. I just wish more people had his mentality
