I have a feeling that the promo he could more than 20 years ago when he said "the day I step down as chairman of this company is the day I die!" was somewhat of a shoot.

Unless XFL becomes more successful and something he can micromanage it's not happening until he's mentally incapable of calling the shots. Which isn't predictable. Assuming his health holds out dude could happily be in his 90s questioning why someone hired Raven for a backstage role.
