In any other year should would have been right to be worried but this year with the woman build and Ronda they were safe for the main event

Honestly I'd say Reigns / McIntyre was a more likely main event than Kofi / Bryan was. And even then I wouldn't have called that especially likely.

Well, going on last was a huge deal to the women and I'm glad they got to, but if WM taught me anything it's that going forward the best spots on the card are the opener and in the middle.
Kofi/Bryan was the biggest storyline heading in and Kofi winning was going to be the biggest moment, so the women were going to be second to them no matter what ended the show.

Not to be mean but it honestly should have been. Although, maybe it’s a good thing the WWE title match was where it was so the crowd wasn’t totally exhausted

The right match won out, but I say that in part because the audience would have been too tired to follow Kofi/Bryan properly. The women's match was a lot more straightforward.

At this point you have to ask if it was worth it. Is it worth being in the main event or is it worth having the best match seen as the highlight this WM?
Man, Meltz said that even the victory celebration for Becky wasn't supposed to be that due to what was going on, they even had to change that due to the time. That was an awkward match.

Feels to me like it was the match with the most hype/anticipation going in to the event. Crowd seemed to just be there once Kofi won it. Was probably best for Kofi and Bryan considering how dead everyone was at the end anyway.

It is really only important for the women right now and that only goes for like the first 3 matches or so tthey have as the main event

The main event spot everyone should be clamoring for is the opening match. Seth got the best placement. Being the last match on a 10 hour show is not a prize.

The night after the Rumble, the women's match was the hottest, but everything quickly turned to shit. Kofi started picking up momentum, became the most over person in the company and rode that wave into KofiMania.

Becky has the mind to go a long long way in wrestling. She’s completely aware of how damaging it can be to “lose your spot” despite the reasons why.

That show was just a lot, especially with the kids in tow, leaving I had my daughter on my back and my son was damn near sleepwalking out to the car.

That’s an odd mindset to have.

To the women's credit, the crowd was into their match from what I could tell watching on TV. Not as hot as they should've been, but after 7 damn hours getting that kind of interest is still something to be a little proud of.
But yeah, if WM is going to be this damn long, it's for the best to want to go on first.

People were singing Becky song and booing Charlotte and Ronda but the fatigue was real at that point
You can only give out as much energy you can after being there 7 hours

For me personally, it took a bit for me to get back into the show after Seth won. It was great to open with it and get that anxiety out of the way but I was so hyped I missed AJ/Randy damn near altogether
