We should take a moment to remember Smackdown: 2018-2019

Because I get the complaints. It hasn't been a perfect year. In a few ways, it was better than the 2016 era of Smackdown. In most ways, it was not.

But...
- We had the rise of Becky.
- The rise of Kofi.
- Bryan's heel turn.
- Also: someone actually escaped 205 Live.

There have been some really great episodes and I'm bummed that the roster is about to change. I'm bummed that I'll have to start watching Raw again, probably.

And the thing is, for me, with the exception of Finn, there's no one on Raw that I'd like to see on Smackdown.

But Smackdown has a lot of good talent to give.

There's Seth Rollins, but considering he's Universal Champ, he sure as hell ain't going to Smackdown any time soon.

Not sure about this. Smackdown is good for upper-midcard guys and main eventers but it has no lower card. At all.

Most of those I want to see are on Smackdown, most of those I don't on Raw. Even the likes of Orton managed to be entertaining at some point during the year.

I'm going to miss this split.
