I want the movie where renegade cop Drake Maverick and new department transfer Damien Priest team up to bust an underground drug empire. The real tragedy is that Eddie Guerrero died before starring in a buddy cop movie. Always thought he would have nailed that kind of a role. Reminds me of when he was Vincent Vega (with Booker as Jules) in one the fantastic 'WWE goes Hollywood' videos.

Damien Priest actually sounds like a cool name in a schlocky action movie kind of way. Too bad it's wasted on f***ing Punishment Martinez Gerard Butler is Damien Priest a man who must rescue the daughter he never knew he had (Ariel Winter) from the now combined Yakuza and Mexican Cartels. Can Priest and his old United States Marine buddy Silas Revenant (Djimon Honsou) fight off these blood thirsty criminals now calling themselves the Mexikuza, rescue his daughter & discover the true mastermind, another old Marine buddy Kraven Payne? (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) Priest: Bloodstained Vendetta in cinemas this August from Millennium Films

There already exists an author, a filmmaker, a religious rap band and a comic book character all sharing that name, so why not a rassler too.

Too bad it's wasted on f***ing Punishment Martinez It's not the worst name, but I'm not sure it's what I'd have gone with for him. But I get the idea of the contrast between the Demonspawn from The Omen and an entity you'd expect to be able to exorcise such a demon. But can a clunky semi-big guy like him sell the contradiction/conflict?

"Damien Priest" sounds like the name that the balding guy with the crow makeup and trench coat in the mall food court insists that you call him.

I actually really liked the name "Punishment Martinez" for some reason.

I love it, tbh. That’s a bad ass name for a wack dude, lol That seems to be their modus operandi, shit new name on great talent, or great new name on shit talent. The only guy who seems to have avoided this was Aleistair Black.

I rented a horror movie last year that touted it starred Rey Misterio as the main villain! Turned out to be Sr., I think, but it was a nice little b-horror movie romp about a killer luchador locked in an abandoned town in a Mexico.
