So if you had to choose one version of Saved By The Bell without the whole classic 6 or 7 if you count Bellding characters that we are used to, which do you prefer, Good Morning Miss Bliss or the Tori episodes of season 4?
It is a weird question I know, I mean I guess the Tori episodes at least had Slater and the Bellding we know and love. GMMB Bellding is more subdue and not as over the top as I am used to, he is essentially a different character.
I say this about GMMB, at least the kids looked like kids, the last season of Saved By The Bell, they looked way too old to be high school students.

I thought they didn't look their ages, either, but when the graduation episode aired in May 1993, only Elizabeth Berkley and Leanna Creel were in their 20s. The other 5 were 18 or 19.

Good question. GMMB was understated and far more subtle than any SBTB incarnation, actually. Tori had a weird mix of the stars not trying as hard or becoming caricatures of themselves. Both seemed to come from alternate timelines so they're equally weird. I...just don't know.

GMMB. I don't like Tori as a character very much and I think GMMB is a pretty good little sitcom.

I would lean slightly more towards the Tori episodes, I actually didn't mind Tori.

The Tori episode (I have no idea what those are, as I assume it's the episodes after GMMB) were the figments of Zac Morris' imagination. Listen to the theme lyrics and his ability to stop time itself.

Listen to the theme lyrics and his ability to stop time itself. In the final season of the original Saved by the Bell (season four or five depending on if you want to count the Miss Bliss episodes), the episode order for the season was doubled at the last minute. Tiffani-Amber Thessen (Kelly) and Elizabeth Berkley (Jessie) were unable to return for the additional episodes. So mid-way through the season their characters were written out as being on some kind of exchange program, and Leanna Creel playing Tori Scott was brought in to fill out the cast, eventually becoming Zack's girlfriend. These are the "Tori episodes". When a final graduation episode was ordered to be the series finale, Thessen and Berkley agreed to return and their characters were brought back for it, whereas Tori was never seen or mentioned during it.

On the subject of Tori, if you use Steven Universe logic, she is like a fusion of Kelly and Jessie. If someone can aniamte SBTB characters in SU animation, and make a video of Kelly and Jessie doing a fusion dance and becoming Tori, that would be awesome.

(Kelly would be a great female Ronnie Raymond...) And when was it mentioned that Kelly and Jessie were in a student exchange? And by the graduation episode, can we say, "....and we never see Tori again; she probably @#$+ing killed herself"?? ;-)

One correction. They didnt come back for the finale graduation episode. It had already been filmed when the order came for the additional episodes that became the Tori episodes.

Tell me if I am not the only one who thought it would have cool if Miss Bliss was in the Saved By The Bell: Wedding In Las Vegas movie.Contiunity wise it was just cause too much confussion, and Kelly was not part of that contiunity. But in the end when they had all those cameo callbacks, would have cool if Miss Bliss was part of it.

It happens. Still wondering why Ted Baxter wasn't at Rhoda's wedding. Were Rhoda and Ted all that close? See, I buy that explanation. Though, they knew each other, and one of Rhoda's really good friends was going out with him. Either way, you can't tell me Ted wouldn't try to weasel into there somehow. Now Sue Ann Nivens not being there I totally understand, as her and Rhoda interacted even less. Plus we all know she'd try and steal Joe :-) ;-) ;-)

GMMB without the SBTB tie in was a fine show for what it was. Not great or anything but harmless. The Tori episodes were randomly placed into an already successful show, subtracting two popular characters and replacing them with someone the fans would never get behind. I believe they did it because they had already filmed the graduation episode and later decided to do more episodes but Kelly/Jessie had already left for other things, so Tori was the replacement. Doing the episodes without a replacement friend and just using Tori as a special character (sort of like Jessie’s step brother in that one story arc) probably would have been better.

That show is one of the most masterful series when it comes to disregarding continuity and actively destroying it when possible. To be fair, lots of sitcoms from the 90s and back were like that. But...it is hard to beat a show with two different senior years, and where most of the same characters existed in two different schools in two different states.
