F*** this boss. FFX was my first true RPG I played myself and it took me an ice age to f***ing beat him. The fury you get when you almost about to kill him and he cast haste and then poison breath your group was painful
Obviously on more playthroughs he's nowhere near as hard but he pissed me off the 1st time I played this on the PS2

For me, I'd overlevel a lot, because that's what I do, so the only boss I remember being that brutal for me was Seymour on the mountains.

For me, I'd overlevel a lot, because that's what I do, so the only boss I remember being that brutal for me was Seymour on the mountains. That one was pretty rough, too. One thing I remember doing in FFX was simply spamming Yojimbo's zanmato attack to clear out the dark aeons. Basically, I wanted to get Anima, but at that point in the game certain areas I had to complete had been blocked off thanks to the dark aeons. So I went and had Yojimbo deal with it. Pay 100k gil, hope it was zanmato, reload if it didn't. Anyways, at that point it was optional, but dark Yojimbo was a fight that you had to do several times in a row, so it was almost impossible to zanmato my way out of the fights. |

I do eventually still want to finish up the dark aeons on my FFX PS4 save BUT getting Titus ultimate weapon thanks to Chocobo catching is a pain |
