The WWE really does need to do something. A whole revamp of the product. Throwing a couple guys from a show that isn’t drawing and putting them on another show that isn’t drawing isn’t it. I wouldn’t say WWE is circling the drain but as much as they’re hemoraging fans I don’t think threatening bringing in too many new ones and that’s not good for their long term success.
Wrestling fans are remarkably loyal and willing to forgive and return. I don’t know if over the last several years there’s been new fans with that mentality

Ahh yes, the Raw Supershow format. That was a massive success back in the day, especially during the Guest Host years. (Spoiler: It actually wasn’t) ......was it originally successful, at least, before ever single Raw got the Supershow added into the logo?

I’m sure you’re right, I just barely remember that time at this point.

I'm rather certain it was a sometimes gimmick, that turned into a weekly "did they just forget to delete that edited .jpg?" thing....

I'm rather certain it was a sometimes gimmick, that turned into a weekly "did they just forget to delete that edited .jpg?" thing.... It's also partly just WWE's weird inescapable fixation with clunky branding. The same way Smackdown has to be called Smackdown Live every time it's mentioned in a promo or on commentary, even though it's been life for several years already and none of this is necessary anymore.

I have two more if you're interested, though you might already have the last one.

So are SmackDown's Monday house shows pushed back permanently or are they going to expect people to go see these things armed with the knowledge that most of the top people will be over trying to shore up Raw?
Speaking of, have to like how they did ZERO buildup for Money in the Bank with this. Nobody at all from SmackDown's side of either ladder match showed up.

Apparently, "Pushed back permanently," might be the answer to that question, because WWE's cancelled a house show in Corpus Christi and it's the fourth time they've done this since the Wildcard was announced.
I think it really goes to show just how few stars WWE really has right now that they can't spare three or four of them without having to cancel shows to make up the difference.

They've done it literally every time except the one week they were in Europe. I wish they would just cancel all of them instead of waiting until the week of and then announcing it.
