Ahh yes, the Raw Supershow format. That was a massive success back in the day, especially during the Guest Host years.
(Spoiler: It actually wasn’t)

Sounds like it's just for the MITB go-home show, which I kind of get, especially since house shows aren't actually helping the company much financially right now. Quick hopeful bump for one week's ratings. Long-term they absolutely can't get the Raw Supershow format running with Fox breathing down their necks, though.

As previously stated, the go-home show is next week. So, this is more a "panic mode" move than it is to set up something leading to a PPV.

This is what happens when you shake up the rosters to benefit one show over the other in favour of one network over the other.
I feel Vince has done USA Network some level of dirty with this Shake-Up, and has found that taking your bigger stars from one show and putting them on the other really isn't going to help the show they left.
This brand split has been a fiasco. And, now, with two networks demanding two separate rosters with a "never the twain shall meet" attitude, and a nascent rival promotion capable of depleting WWE's roster as contracts come up, I think WWE may have overextended themselves on what it's offered both USA and Fox. Look for 205 Live to go away entirely, with its roster split up for tag teams between Raw and Smackdown, and look for NXT and NXT UK callups en masse by the fall.

When you only have 5 or 6 real stars, splitting them across 2 shows is stupid anyway. Brand split will only work if they build more people up.

I like the idea of the brand split and it's a damn shame they don't know how to f***ing do one properly.

I’ve felt once they announced the move to Fox they go back to the supershow gimmick but I figured they’d wait till september/october so its kinda a fresh idea and might do something for ratings for a brief while but doing it now kills that trick for the fall.Worse they’ve been doing this most of the year I haven’t been watching much wwe this year but when I’d check results you’d have Becky,Charlotte,The Mcmahon’s,The H’s,Angle,Rey,Joe,Drew,Da Bar and a ton of the women’s tag all appearing on both shows so its not special and it did little for ratings then and that was mania season I don’t see it doing much now.
The brand split shouldn’t be hard especially with the sheer amount of talent they have on their roster but when you have terrible creative,an unwillingness to create new stars or to stick to keeping the rosters separate it makes its pointless to even do the brand split. When you look at the past 3 years of this brand split there’s been zero new star creation through creative its been people they booked terribly that they had no plans to push as real stars that the fans just decided they want in those spots and in most cases the company has fought the fans choices tooth and nail until they just gave up.Pro Wrestling really isn’t as hard as WWE makes it seems they deserve whatever doom that befalls them.

What's even the point of the brand split if they're going to be constantly shuffling people around and having them appear on the other show anyway? Since about the Rumble it's been completely f***ing meaningless.
