You know what I’ve always found interesting? When kids’ shows make references to decidedly non-kid-friendly shows/movies.
Like that episode of Arthur that referenced South Park.

Sesame Street parodied Game Of Thrones once. And then there was the crossover... Also, they did a parody of Hunger Games, which made me laugh when Cookie Monster reacted to finding out there were sequels.

this is a reference to Little Shop of Horrors. But I wouldnt be surprise if Billy Mandy had it.They reference bunch of dark humour like Elvira
