So are they just renaming Hulu to "Disney+" in November? Or do they intend to own and run 2 seperate VOD channels?

Honestly, considering the seemingly bitter business rivalry with them and Comcast, I’m shocked this went as smoothly as it did.

Figured it’d take atleast a year to sort out tho. That’s a powerful trifecta to be offering in the US. Hulu+, ESPN+ and Disney+ in a $15-20 bundle is gonna be huge for them.

I bet they merge everything under one streaming "service" with multiple tiers.

If they finally make Hulu legally available in Canada then I'm all for it.

Ditto and allowing NBC/Comcast shows to remain on Hulu until the NBC streaming app is ready and to exit Hulu with no strings attached if they need to leave early. Pretty sweetheart deal. If the Mouse is an entertainment dictatorship, it’s pretty benevolent. Then again, Comcast still has rights to Incredible Hulk, so...

With Disney buying up all this stuff, they're becoming the real life version of Scrooge McDuck (which makes me wonder which company is the Flintheart Glomgold equivalent).

Comcast did keep shows from all networks, will they do the same? Or do NBC and CBS need to look elsewhere? (And take their classic libraries as well...I'm thinking for instance Paramount Television from CBS)
And there's the worry about content and what will be allowed, as always. The Dumbo incident and the Family Guy Freeform report still make me question if they're serious about "if it makes money it stays uncensored"

The year is 2103 and Disney owns the world. They also bought Mars and Venus, looking to also buy Jupiter.

Supposedly The Office might be moving to it as the key selling point, although Netflix might drop a lot of money to retain the show.
