I was a BMG member (subscriber?) around then, back in the ancient days of the cassette tape player. I got my first stereo/cassette combo when everyone was getting CD players and I was hyped.

Also it should be mentioned, the whole "8 CDs for the price of 1 with nothing more to buy ever" was a ginormous misnomer, intentionally worded to slightly mislead the potential buyer. Because you still had to buy 4 more CDs, all at full price, before your obligations were met and there was finally "nothing more to buy ever".

I was a member of BMG and Columbia House. I actually preferred Columbia House over BMG. I thought they had a better selection.

Counting Crows are awesome. They put out some really good albums after "August And Everything After".
