AEW released a recent match between SCU and a trio from an OWE show, didn't see it posted so I figured I'd do the honors. I actually really like the presentation of OWE I just wish they had some sort of display for the wrestler's names because I couldn't make them out. It is a pretty good match, especially considering how green a lot of the workers in OWE are.

This may be a dumb question but are they still wrestling at Double or Nothing or did they decide to do the match early?

That is Achilles Ben (big coat), Fan Qiuyang (red/white/black gear), and Fan Hewei (furred shoulder wrap).
I recently discovered OWE's Youtube page and have been watching some of their programming off and on. I hardly know any Chinese, but I've found that I can understand much of what's going on without it. Most of the matches have been pretty good.
Only thing I don't care for is that the female commentator sounds like she's speaking with a mouth full of marbles.
Lindaman's going to be in the DoN match? Interesting. He reminds me a lot of Toru Yano, so he may be an acquired taste around here.

Im shocked SCU didnt job to the home country, but overall a fun video. I feel like this is CIMA and OWE doing business to add hype to the partnership and to the match. Look at it this way: SCU goes over here, now All Elite has made a name for itself in China. CIMA, T-Hawk, and El Lindaman go over in the States, OWE makes a name for itself here. Seems like a good trade off and can lead to good things down the road. |
