Him being in the MITB ppv kind of got me thinking if he would be a good option as world champ for Raw. I think he would need to win a Midcard title before a world/universal title but I would atleast be entertained by him as champion if they book him credibly

As a face, sure, albeit probably not with a very long reign.
As a heel this dude shouldn't even be on TV. He's freaking terrible.

Face, yes. This heel run, no.
Also, maybe using the Blue Thunder Powerbomb as his finisher, with the Helluva Kick as a secondary, not the other way around.

Yeah, I'm not opposed to the idea of a corner boot as a finisher but he's kind of too small to pull it off convincingly, while his Blue Thunder Bomb looks like complete death.

I figure Zayn probably wants the Helluva Kick as his finish since he's a smaller guy, and doesn't want to be reliant on a power move like the BTB that becomes implausible, if not impossible, against bigger guys like Braun Strowman.

I get that, but that's why you keep the kick as a secondary you can use when you have to, like how Undertaker would chokeslam guys he couldn't tombstone. Of course, all super heavyweights can be pinned with DDTs, that's the law.

I think the best of both worlds would be if Sami pinned more guys with the Helluva into Blue Thunder Bomb, like he did once against AJ. Of course, it still helps if the Helluva Kick still beats some guys that Sami can use the BTB on, so the move has finish credibility when he needs to beat a big gy with it.

So Jinder The thing is with me now, the bar as been set so low with with him winning the World Heavyweight title, that it's hard for me not to argue against anybody World champion material... Viktor, sure why not? Curt Hawkins, if he had been still on his losing streak? No problem. It will be a long time before the stink of Jinder as champion will be cleared with me, Jinder as World Champion as more substance as Koko in the HOF to me

Short answer? Yes.
Long answer? Yes, and there's a number of ways you could go about it. A lot of them WWE has wasted in one form or another, but they're not completely burnt from ever happening. It would just take the machine getting behind him in a significant way. Which I feel like won't ever happen.

World Champ? No chance. Solid upper midcard gatekeeper in the role the IC Title was when it used to mean something, who occasionally dips into main event title matches in a multiman or filler shot? Sure. Sami's good, but he's just not top guy material for me. But I mean neither was Kofi for a long time, so who knows how things can change.
