What would you say it is? I’d say Dusty Rhodes-Cody Rhodes is #1 due to one being a multi time world champ and the second, owning a damn company that is going to be brodcasted on TNT. Honerable mentions go to Ric to Charolette Flair and Gory to Eddie Guerrero

Vincent J. McMahon and Vincent K. McMahon. They literally made wrestling into what it is today.

Ric and Charlotte Flair have to be up there. Most decorated champ of all time and like 10 women’s championships in 3 years or however long she’s been there.

I'd say the Orton's deserve a mention.

Honestly it will probably be decades before anyone can match what the Rhodes have done. Both of them were successes on their own, prior to becoming back office fixtures as well. Plus Cody did pretty well for himself in the WWE as well, and likely would've gotten at least a "thank you" run as World Champion there.
Charlotte has had titles thrown at her because it's the family gimmick, and half of her reigns are from a six-month feud with Sasha. She's excellent, but her second generation of success story is literally her gimmick.

Rocky Johnson, found himself in NWA, Memphis and WWF at peak times allowing him to wrestle some greats, tag team gold and remember how hard black wrestlers would have had to work back then he would have been a trailblazer.
His son did alright too.

El Santo and El Hijo del Santo
the Rhodes, the Flairs, the Ortons, the Funks, the Harts, they're all known in their home countries as being among great professional wrestlers of all time
in Mexico, El Hijo del Santo is known as being one of the greatest luchadors of all time, while his father El Santo transcended lucha libre to be a national icon and folk hero

Blue Demon and his son Blue Demon Jr Pretty sure Blue Demon Jr isn't really Blue Demon's son. Plus BD Jr is horrible.

There's a few things about this topic that make it difficult.
Cody's success is a very different kind of success than, say, Greg Valentine, who had a VERY successful career. Cody hasn't main-evented very many "big" shows. He hasn't carried a lot of big titles. His current status is as part of a completely unproven entity. On the other hand, Valentine was at one point a main eventer in both Crockett and WWF with sold-out MSG and Omni headliners on his belt. Which is really the more successful in that situation? It's almost...almost...apples and oranges.
Then we have to look at the dads in this equation and...well, some of them may be well-known now, but were they successful? The Poffos are listed a post or two up, but Angelo Poffo was never a top guy, ever, unless he booked it himself in a rinky dink promotion attended by 100 people.
Or the Ortons. Bob was well-known thanks to his time as an almost inactive bodyguard for Piper and he had some great runs in the territories, but how successful was he overall? He was almost always a goon for someone else and never got a top spot anywhere he went. And for that matter, what about Bob Sr and how does he affect all this?

I vote for Charlotte and Ric Flair. But if they get weighed down by David, then Dusty, Dustin and Cody Rhodes win the day as a whole family.
Their patriarch [The Dream] did a lot more in-ring than Stu Hart even given how much better Bret and Owen were than the sons of the son of a plumber.

This thread has also lead to me to ponder this: who'd win in a tag team match between Verne and Greg Gagne vs. VMK and Shane O'Mac?
