So you go out on a finish that you know people won't be into the week before your competition becomes official. Great thinking.

Disappointing, but it wasn't the most disappointing finish tonight on television.

Anyway Ali was standing there doing nothing so long he looked like a f***ing anime character, except you at least figure that in anime shit's all slowing down super hard and talking doesn't take any time at all so in practice it's probably not too bad. Ali had the match won and just stood there drooling while Brock made his way down for what in no way was going to be something good or helpful to him. Who writes this crap and thinks it looks good? At least do it when Ali is setting up the ladder or something, Christ. Don't you know? Brock Lesnar has powers that force his opponents to not move while he speeds up .00003x his normal speed. That's why Ali couldn't do anything and why Brock could do that. It's his spiritual pressure/chi/nen/supremekinghaki

The trolling is strong with Jericho.

They booked the match, they just did it in England. Whether it was creative or visa issues at least they found a good compromise and aren't gonna rob people of it.

I forgot MITB was tonight. Now I’m cool with it. Check out the women's championship matches. They had me in a good mood up until Brock's music hit.

What I don't get is this notion that Lesnar is some sort of a draw. Let's say when he does randomly show up that he does bring a few more viewers in (since shockingly when the champion is there more people might watch). What does the rating do the other 90% of the time? It bombs. This is what happened slowly during his nightmare of a run in 2017-18, as Raw lost viewers bit by bit. Fox executives are morons. It's obvious if they want Lesnar because he's "a star" for SD, but when he's not even around how is he drawing the network any ratings? WWE is the equivalent now of the USWA or SMW in the 1990s when they would bring in a top WWF star and pop a gate for it, but then in the weeks that followed it was the usual crew and attendance plummeted again. In that case Vince probably didn't care since it wrecked other promotions, but he has literally done the same thing to his own shows! Lesnar is the equivalent of bringing The Undertaker or Bret Hart to Memphis or Knoxville and then the next show tanks.
Raw actually hit 3 million viewers the day after SS last year. It's the last time they did. Note that Raw's numbers really started cratering badly after Crown Jewel when they put the title back on Lesnar after doing an entire storyline saying he hates even being there. Now obviously there were other problems like Reigns having leukemia and the awful Ambrose heel turn, but I do think actually going back to this guy after finally getting the belt off him caused a lot of fans to just tune out.

The trolling is strong with Jericho. Jericho's WWE debut promo over 20 years ago is still relevant today, if not even MORE relevant, seriously, it's crazy.

He’s come around again to save us from boring ‘sports entertainment’ and declining ratings in a downward spiral. He’s not wrong. The Man is the only reason I’m watching the product right now outside of NXT.

This seems like a bad call to me. They just won't let other people shine, just keep going back to Brock and it is getting old. Wasn't able to watch, did some of the guys in the match get good reactions for their hard work?
