The trolling is strong with Jericho. Jericho is older than Brock and is main eventing AEW's first show Yeah, but Jericho also reinvents himself quite often and is always trying new things. Brock has done the bare minimum for years.

The trolling is strong with Jericho. Jericho is older than Brock and is main eventing AEW's first show Yes, but Jericho is still over, shows up for the shows and doesn’t meet to keep his matches under five minutes to keep from blowing up live on international television. Seriously, the comparison here is insulting.

The trolling is strong with Jericho. Jericho is older than Brock and is main eventing AEW's first show Can still work, is gonna show up much more than Lesnar, and is working against one of the biggest Indy Stars in the world in Omega It's not really comparable to Brock "Blown up two minutes into the match and do the same shit every time" Lesnar. Jericho isn't stale, the concept isn't stale, and they're gonna kill it. And I highly doubt Jericho is gonna win.

Also, boy Brock must know he'd never pass USADA.

None of the wrestlers in the match (WWE's fault) were over enough to win

I don't get the "blow up" comments on Brock. Dude turns bright red just standing there. The guy was in the Minnesota wrestling room drilling with Gable Stevenson for over an hour this season. You are not blowing up in 5 minutes if you're scrapping for over an hour in a college wrestling room. Not for nothing, I don't think there's a whole lot of guys on the roster that could do that.

The only silver lining is that Brock didn't come down and Suplex everyone onto ladders and F5 Finn Balor over the ropes (since Balor was essentially the big bump sacrifice of this match) before climbing up.
He did manage to fling a ladder into some ringside crew, though. So...there's that.

Seriously, though, they’re panicking. Low ratings, network demands and AEW incoming have got them shook. They’re doubling down on “YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT WE’LL DO NEXT, WA-HEY WOOZLE WAZZLE” unpredictability at a time when there just isn’t the goodwill there for people to be OK with it.

I thought this was a joke thread when I first read the title. I was thinking, "there is no way the writers are that dumb".
I really should know better by now.
WWE keeps making sticking with NJPW World a lot easier.

This isn't really even that unpredictable. The briefcase is a slight tweak to dude always being in the title picture in the same way giving Malibu Stacy a new hat was a tweak.

Drew feels like the new Wade Barrett circa 2011-2014 where every year people expect him to win the briefcase/slotted into the main event picture but he gets passed over.

I keep thinking of ways they could make this work and it's frustrating that they most likely won't happen.
Like what if Ali beat Brock for the case? Boom, star made. Not going to hold my breath on that.

As with literally everything WWE does, this *could* be good but probably won't be.

“Boooooo we want something unpredictable”. Something unpredictable happens. “Boooooo not that” Hypothetical If you said you were hungry and someone gave you dog food. Why are you angry he gave you food?

Eh, I’m with it but I really only care what Daniel Bryan is up to. And he’s on the preshow.
