Is HHH as much of a scumbag as Vince?

This thread is an example of why I laugh when people think Triple H taking over won't be better. Some people act like he'll be worse than Vince. Bruh, he's better creatively these days as we've seen with NXT, he's younger, he hasn't done near the amount of wild things Vince has. There's nothing that indicates he'd be worse than Vince.

He does, but he seems to have his priorities different. He uses his ego to serve the business, Vince uses the business to serve his ego.

HHH does everything he can for the betterment of his own career. In ring that's politicking, making sure you get the right friends and the right shots. In business it means getting the right people around and listening to what people want. If stuff comes out that's crappy, he tries to really fix it, if only because that's best for him, rather than sticking to his guns out of spite like Vince. His motives may not be great, but if it gets to a better place I'll take it.

If he's had the same opportunities to cover up crimes and get away with things like Vince McMahon has done, Triple H would have done the same exact thing. Father in law and son in law probably get along so well because they are cut from the same cloth. Triple H probably knows full well that if it weren't for knowing Shawn Michaels and being with Stephanie that he would be back in Massachusetts running what became of Killer Kowalski's school and promotion. If presented with a situation to protect his position at any cost despite the physical, mental, emotional abuse or death of another he would.

There's this perception that Hunter is going to make the show about him when Vince is finally gone, but I don't understand that. If he wanted, he could make NXT all about himself, but he doesn't.

I'm not so sure about that it was reported that he knew about Tomasso Ciampa's neck issues before he was brought up to the main roster.

Despite that they be increased his workload by having him wrestle on 3 shows a week.

Other than that he's had one of the longest matches if not the longest match at the last few wrestlemania's.

I thought Vince Sr. was pretty well respected? A lot of the old school guys like Bruno and Backlund liked to point this out when comparing the two.

I think HHH is a good guy. What do we know he has done that bad? Maybe cheat on Chyna? I mean, shit thing to do, but more of a mistake when he was younger than any indication he is a bad person. I mean, he looked out for number 1 during his career, but wrestling may be the main business where that is a requirement.

Vince is cartoonishly evil, and it would be genuinely funny if it weren't for the fact that there's some truly despicable shit he's had his hands in or knew about.

Triple H is your average corporate suit with all the "questionable morality" comes with that.

The irony in all this is that Vince is the one that's supposed to be a suit and acts like a pro-wrestling heel, and Haitch is a pro-wrestler who acts like a suit.

I don't think he is personally and I could even see the chances of Punk increasing dramatically once he takes charge. (or IF that happens before it comes crashing down for the company) He is definitely preferable to Vince IMHO.
