I made a thread title “Do we love Vince” with my response being yes, and just a couple weeks later the Lars thing resurfaces with him doing nothing about it, the backstage stories and now this Alleged Ashley story coming out is making me change my mind. I doubt he will ever be criminally charged with anything, but I feel like a documentary will he made eventually with a bunch of angry/abused ex wrestlers and it will not be pretty at all. I feel like something worse than Benoit/Steriod trial will be dug up and force Vince to resign

I think when Vince is gone, a lot of things are going to get out that no one is going to like to hear.

Wrestling is always going to be too under-the-radar for things to really work out that way. I don't think Vince ever sees his day in the sun in the mainstream, he'll just teeter back and forth amid various swells of an issue cropping up and then quickly dying down before it can hurt him. I think a lot of the people who have the dirt on Vince either love him too much or have too much in their own closet they know will come out if they try to f*** with WWE. It'll always just be rumblings and things whispered about in the wrestling world but never in the mainstream, where even long after Vince is gone WWE will lionize him.

Not while he's alive.

If so it'll happen due to something in the XFL being an inciting incident.

He's got enough money (and connections that'd break board rules if mentioned) to insulate himself from this until he's six feet under, but after Vince is dead, I'm expecting him to get the Moolah treatment: A lot of people who knew exactly what was going on and tacitly endorsed it by helping him paper over the worst parts from mainstream exposure are going to feign ignorance and quietly distance themselves from his legacy while still trying to make a profit off of it.

I’d be surprised if it isn’t a thing some day.
Hell I’m surprised it’s not a thing now.

I think when Vince is gone, a lot of things are going to get out that no one is going to like to hear. On the other hand, there's a lot of stuff he's going to take to the grave with him, being the last living person involved in said stuff.

probably not the same kind of doc. Vince is a horrid human being who belongs in a garbage can, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't have a brainwashed cult of underage girls like R. Kelly did.
