I guess I would go with The Man even though she's been starting to come like a bit of a force the last few months. I like her having more of an edge and her look is way cooler with all the black and the leather jacket. Getting strong booking also helps. Underdog good girl Becky was more likeable but other then winning the match to become the first SD Women's champion lost every big match. I think she went like a year and a half without winning a PPV match.
Honestly I think my favorite period for her was that two month transition stretch (Summerslam-Evolution) between The Underdog and The Man where she was just an aggressive and angry heel attacking Charlotte all the time. It didn't get the intended crowd reactions but she really had an edge to her (even more then she does now) and actually came off being very dangerous. She also had a reason to be bitter as until then she had always been overlooked. Now she still acts like has a chip on her shoulder and it doesn't work as well anymore because one she's a face now and two she's now The Man. She just kind of comes like a bit of a deuche now sometimes (not something you want as a face) because she's now on top of the mountain so there's no reason really for her to have a chip on her shoulder anymore.

To be honest, I liked the look of steampunk Becky but never saw a thing about the rest of her character and wrestling that had any relevance to it. She also didn't really have much motivation or direction.
The Man Becky is a vastly better character, although I think it feels like Becky playing a part where the directionless goon felt more like her real self, and it seems to have made virtually no difference to how she wrestles.

I like the personality of goofy, endearing Becky a lot more. It's obviously much closer to her real personality, and it's that sense of fun and warmth that first caught my interest. But the trouble with goofy, endearing Becky is, she lost. A lot. She didn't have the killer instinct, because you got the sense she liked most of the people she interacted with, and wanted them to like her.
The Man makes it far easier to be a fan, because you don't have to commiserate every week, when she inevitably gets jobbed to Mandy Rose or Carmella. You don't have to say, 'maybe they'll push her soon'. She's a tough, determined winner, and she was righteously pissed off at everyone who had dismissed or taken advantage of her.
But now she's on top, she's less angry. Just as confident, but not needlessly harsh to everyone simply because her character is 'no nonsense'. I like how she's bringing elements of fun Becky back, in a natural way, and showing a more rounded character. The Becky of November last year would not have suggested teaming with Nikki and Alexa on Raw. She'd rather fight the IIconics and Lacey on her own.

Honestly, I hate her “Becky McGregor” gimmick.
