Gurley鈥檚 knees are done, he鈥檒l be good as part time RB I think, but can鈥檛 overpay for him.

this might be the start of the fall of the Rams
they traded a ton of draft picks for vets and are now in a vire dire cap crunch in a result
Gurley turned to mush, which didn't really help them either

It's crazy when you scroll through individual trolls profile's replies. How do people get up every day with so much bile? Shit must be exhausting.

And just like that, Todd Gurley has been picked up by the Falcons.

Bucs signing Colts G/OT Joe Haeg. That鈥檚 disappointing, but I figured there was a real chance he would leave. I expected him and C/G Josh Andrews to go places where they can start.

It鈥檚 amazing how short the lifespan of an NFL running back is, at least from the short spectrum of being elite to being washed up.
You鈥檙e on the downside by 27

Yea, I would be like if y'all got all this money for Tannehill then you at least got something for me That team goes nowhere without him so they might as well bite the bullet and pay him

The Steelers signed Eric Ebron to a 2 year/$12 million contract today. Meanwhile, four days ago, the Bears signed the corpse of Jimmy Graham to a 2 year/$16 million contract.
It's too bad Bill O'Brien exists, because if he didn't, we'd be talking about how Ryan Pace makes sure to lose every transaction.

WR Emmanuel Sanders signs a 2 year deal with the Saints Sigh.... Would have such better memories of him if he was a step faster or if Jimmy Average was a better quarterback.

Apparently the Colts are cutting CB Pierre Desir. I don't quite get this move. He's a quality player on an affordable contract. I especially don't get him getting cut before Brian Hoyer, whose value to the team cratered after Rivers was signed. The team has no use for him even if they do find a trade partner for Brissett, as either Swag Kelly or a drafted QB would be the presumptive QB2. Maybe Hoyer knows he is about to get cut and stopped answering his phone...
In other news, this means that Quincy Wilson probably is no longer trade bait. I can't see them letting him go now despite the fact that he was often a healthy scratch. He played well when he did play but only dressed when he was asked to start. Backup CBs on the Colts have to play special teams and for some mysterious reason he simply did not play special teams...ever.
Edit: Some more details here. Apparently the Colts went ahead and paid Desir all of his guaranteed money last year in a single cash payment, meaning that by cutting him today they have $0 in dead money, which would not be the case tomorrow. They are open to bringing him back under a contract that reflects his performance last season (which was a down year), but otherwise they save $7M in cap space. I assumed that there would be significant dead money, making it make less sense.

Sanders is a great pick-up for New Orleans. Thomas had to carry the entire load last season since none of their other guys stepped up and Cook didn't come on until later in the season. Sanders has been a real solid player everywhere he's been and should be a terrific #2 move-the-chains guy. Got to see a lot of him in Pittsburgh and I'm a big fan.
