I thought I'd bring this up since it was mentioned some pages back......today in Kansas City the news director of KCTV 5 was fired, KCTV5 News Director @caseyclarkjr has been OUSTED & let go. New GM Charlie Henrich announced the move yesterday to employees via email. Clark was a driving force behind the terrible KCTV5 reporting on Tyreek Hill. He leaves KC after less than 2 yrs on the job. Yes that is the station and the man who took the Tyreek Hill audio to air..so in less than a year, the guy that runs the tv station and the woman beat reporter for the newspaper that spearheaded this story, have both been let go from their jobs. Interesting eh? Good for him. Hill is still a garbage person. |

Damn it, can Boston please get some POSITIVE non-Covid-19 news?! Nah. The Patriots *should* be fine. After all, remember that one season when Brady got hurt in Week 1? They still went 11-5 and barely missed out on the playoffs. As long as the offensive and defensive lines are good, the Patriots will still be perennial playoff contenders at worst. |

Belichick is gonna have to retire, people don't wanna play there now....and for Gronkowski to come back the minute Brady switches teams makes you wonder how much he did not like old Bill. Retire? Nah. Bill has always had the my way or the high way mentality and Gronk/Brady have enough clout to say let us off right here we will walk. They needed him just as much as he needed them to win but after 20 years you finally having players that are tired of it and it helps they have rings to leave with Bill will be fine. The team will be fine. But it’s a gut punch I dunno, they look like an impending dumpster fire about to happen with that roster. |

I still wonder if the Patriots end up trading up big time and try to get one of the big three QBs in the first round.
Between who gets Burrow, Tua or Herbert, I feel like there's going to be a team that's looking for a QB and is going to be screwed. If I'm looking for a QB (especially Chargers and Dolphins), I'm trading up a few spots so no other team that's on the outside looking in doesn't snag my QB of the future. Dolphins have the draft ammo to make some moves so I can see them trading up and getting Tua or Burrow (whoever is not #1 overall). I can see someone moving up to the Lions spot and then Chargers get to pick and your big 3 are already off the board.
This first round of the draft is going to be a madhouse.

I wouldn’t sleep on Bill getting someone like Jalen Hurts in the 3rd round or so
He’s a guy who works hard which is up Bill alley and he can coach him up while they get a vet to handle the duties for 2 years or so

Anyone who thinks Tampa Bay is getting 2014 Rob Gronkowski (72 catches, 1,176 yards, 11 touchdowns) needs to realize that was six years ago. The Rob Gronkowski who'll take the field in September will be a 31-year-old who hasn't played a snap of professional football in 19 months and who most recently was talking about how he lost his love of the sport because of how much physical pain he was constantly in. He's had three back surgeries, four forearm surgeries, one ankle surgery, a torn ACL/MCL, he claims at least 20 concussions, and hasn't played a full regular season since 2011. This is a guy who isn't coming back to be an All-Pro or a Pro Bowler, he's coming back to give Tom Brady a red zone option and hope to have some fuel left in the tank for a playoff run. This isn't Michael Jordan coming out of retirement in 1995. This is Michael Jordan coming out of retirement in 2001. |

Gronkowski was slow and broken down two years ago. It’s a big name to get but I’d put his over under in games around 10 with middle of the road output. We’ll see if he can still block
