AJ Green had ligament damage on his ankle so he'll miss 6-8 weeks Might be close to calling it a career for AJ. Which is unfortunate he looked like the second coming of Randy Moss, sucks he spent the best years of his career in Cincy making Andy Dalton appear serviceable AJ Green is younger than both Larry Fitzgerald (by 5 years) and Antonio Brown (by 1 year) and is in the the same age group as a whole lot of really good receivers. I don't see why taking the preseason off will be the end of his career.

Because this is his 4th injury in less than a year, as many as Antonio Browns entire career and Larry Fitzgerald has missed two games in the last decade. A 30 year old wide receiver with this recent string of injuries may not have a lot of good days ahead of him

Despite screwing up his ankle, he still put up some serious numbers as the Colts went 5-1 during that time (32 catches for 628 yds, though the only TD he got during that time was in the playoff loss to KC). Stars like Hilton and Green can still be productive simply because they are just a cut above the rest in many different ways.

Oh man, I so want to see The PeterMAN take the field, throw a few picks instead of throwing towards AB, and watch the fireworks go off.

So weird story today.........Chiefs CB Tremon Smith who worked primarily as a return man last year, almost had a TD in the Sunday night Patriots game, and a 5th round pick last year, was basically not going to make the team.
Today he has changed position and is working as a RB and seeing a bit of time as a slot WR.
This is literally the Chiefs seeing a guy with 4.32 speed and wanting to find a role for him instead of just dumping him, more speed more!

It's basically what I wanted the Colts to do when they had Darius Heyward-Bey on their roster. I thought, "He is capable of getting his hand on passes, even if he cannot catch a damned thing. Maybe he would be an alright CB."

Hopefully the Redskins can get something decent for Trent Williams. Nothing lower than a 3rd round pick. Maybe a 3rd rounder and young player. But this is the Redskins. So we'll probably trade him and a 3rd round pick for a role player. Lol
Getting Donald Penn was huge for us at this point.

There are rumors that the Patriots are in on Trent Williams, but I've got to imagine the only way they'd make a trade is if red-shirt rookie Isaiah Wynn (a 2018 first-rounder who missed the entire season after tearing his Achilles in the pre-season) isn't ready to go or his recovery is slower than anticipated.

Ryan Kalil has decided to come out of retirement and signed a deal with the Jets.

Ryan Kalil has decided to come out of retirement and signed a deal with the Jets. I think getting Matt Paradis makes this deal not even sting a bit after Kalil has not been healthy for the last two years.

So how long before we start making season predictions? You can start now, since the 32 rosters are mostly set, at least with all of their best/notable players. You could always re-adjust any given team's prediction if someone important gets injured during the pre-season.
