The way TK has screwed fans and interfered with transfers and management at Fulham does not speak well of him.

If Vince McMahon is Mr. Burns, then Tony Khan is Arthur Fortune. His first appearance on the TNT weekly show will be him sliding down Mt. Everest on a boogie board.

Here's the thing people have realised that in other places they have problems cause there was many bosses while in the WWE the buck stopped with Vince. I don't think the problem for the WWE has been cause they have had a "Vince type", their problem has been cause it's Vince. Cause he is stubborn and wants things to go his way, not the fans ways. He has overpushed guys like Cena and Reigns when fans did not want to see them in these positions. He disregarded other talent to make sure these two guys had all the stroke. Whereas the way Cody has talked about fans will tell us what they want to see, it's already completely different while still having a strong person in charge. Vince wants to shove down his philosophy while making money, while Khan and AEW will be about giving us a good product while making money. Also really the age difference is a big plus, not gonna lie.

AsI understand it Tony Khan WAS the transfer policy. In the summer they signed various marquee name attacking players including World Cup winner Andre Schurrle, with no thought to how to fit these players into a team. In January when Fulham were floundering, everyone and their dog could see they needed to sign a couple of quality, or even just mediocre, defenders, as their defence was awful (The only defender they spent any money on in Mawson they massively paid over the odds for). Naturally, they go out and sign more attacking players, and to nobody's surprise Fulham are relegated despite having roughly the 5th highest spend in the entire league. I want to be so excited for AEW and I am for the concept, but Tony Khan being anywhere near the decision making regarding the onscreen product should have everybody worried. His track record with Fulham is "pour money into something to justify running it like his own fantasy team without any knowledge or forethought or consideration for how things actually work".

Another thing that worries me most of all, too many cooks in the kitchen, how many EVPs are there? For now they are all on the same page, but that was when other people controlled their booking. Now that they essentially book themselves what happens when they disagree? Even if they all play ball together, how many people will really want to come in to put them over? Good question. Also, it's very, very weird the way that they are each acknowledged as members of the office on the wrestling show itself. Like, the Young Bucks wrestler profiles say they are Vice Presidents, etc. I don't see the purpose of it, unless it's somehow going to play a part in storylines in the future (I hope to God they don't go that route). If they're active wrestlers on the roster, they should be presented as wrestlers, even if they also happen to have a role behind the scenes. Maybe it's just me, but the way they're approaching it by calling them VP's is strange.

Genie's out of the bottle, anyhow.

Genie's out of the bottle, anyhow. I just don't get why they would go out of their way to point it out. Their profiles on the AEW web site, in the space some wrestlers have their nickname, says "Vice President." Like... why? I'm not saying they should keep it a secret, but to a casual wrestling fan, they'll be wondering why one of the tag teams are called Vice Presidents instead of... tag team contenders. In the world of wrestling where they are trying to tell stories with each of the characters, unless the Vice President thing is important to the character's role... it just makes it more needlessly confusing.
