HHH vs. Warrior in 2003 sounds like the worst shit ever (even worse than HHH vs. Steiner). I'm sad it never happened now. Swerve - Warrior is a member of Evolution.

Probably a little like Hogan. Nostalgia run, they sell a shitload of toys and shirts, and they give him relatively light work. And like Hogan, he probably leaves when his ego gets bruised due to Vince not wanting to promote him as THE guy anymore.

He would've real life feuded with Orlando Jordan. Possible but his last match was against Jordan. Don’t believe they had any issues. Was he out yet? What I'm trying to insinuate is Warrior was a terrible person.

For those curious about how he looked back then, here's an interview he did with Ringside in 2004 to promote the new Classic Superstar line. Still has long hair, too. In this video, he looks exactly like how I would've pictured him as Corporate Commissioner in 1998-9.

Y’all remember his comeback match and tour in Spain around 2007? No thanks, Helwig was done.

Y’all remember his comeback match and tour in Spain around 2007? No thanks, Helwig was done. There was also this that time: Maybe if Warrior was around 2001-2003, we might've seen this tag team. Was he out yet? What I'm trying to insinuate is Warrior was a terrible person. I believe so. But I really don’t keep track of when people come out. I know what you meant but was unsure if you aware they did wrestle. I believe he was already out that time. There were rumors back then about him bringing some young man with him backstage. Even Kanyon who was already out accused WWE back in 2006 of letting Orlando go because of his sexuality.

Warrior and Animal in a tag team could have been fun

At best you'd have him show up in a nostalgia fueled segment where he beats up some jobber heel type like Chavo with his big moves and he gets to pose down to a pop. Like Thread Barbarian Joe P mentioned, Warrior was a new parent at the time and he was pretty content to be a family man. I do think eventually you'd get a Vince vs Warrior something and it'd be a train wreck. WWE were/are adept at smoke and mirrors with guys like Vince and Warrior though. It would have been like Vince/Hogan. Loads of plunder and OTT stuff with Vince taking the kind of punishment and man of his wealth and age shouldn't really have been, and laid out so Warrior wasn't blown up after 30 seconds.

NWE (was it Rikishi booking?) let him have a degree of control there and let him insist on a long match he couldn't fulfill (I recall OJ saying Warrior told him he was blown up inside 2 minutes). At least in WWE the agents would have laid out something more manageable.

I think there were legit rumors Vince wanted to bring him back. This is around the time Piper returned.
