It’s funny, everyone was hating on him during the preshow Once JR joined the table for the actual show, I think it became apparent it wasn't Excalibur that was the issue but rather Marvez not really ever getting his timing and cadence down to keep up with him.

I thought Marvez was OK but sometimes I couldn't hear what he said. Needs to be a bit louder.

Better than I thought. Thankfully he didn’t use insider terms like he did at All In.

starting what campaign. people have known about Excalibur's commentary greatness for years But people have written him off because he's such a goofball in PWG and that's what goes viral

I really liked his stuff. Marvez seems like he will get to where he needs to be, but he was absolutely not needed. Excalibur was on point and perfectly complimented JR and especially filled in the right gaps on guys and styles that are not JR's cup of tea.
That said, and I'm sure there are those who will disagree vehemently, but if I'm in charge of the company, the mask is gone and never referenced again. It was so out of place and distracting in an otherwise perfectly sports centered enviroment.

Was he not the announcer in the mask? Was that Marvez? That's Excalibur's face, dude. I'm joking, but I'm kinda not. Dude has been wearing that mask for like 25 years at this point, it's just accepted

he'll probably always have the mask on the air since he never lost it in a match
