Since they debuted their World Championship at Double or Nothing, what other championship do you think we might be seeing soon in AEW?
The Tag Team and Women championship are a guaranteed but I think we might see a Women Tag or a midcard title too especially with the debut of the TNT show coming soon.

I mean, I dream of a TV title belt designed to ape the ICW/ICWA Tex-Arkana Television title, but aside from that and belts for the Women's division and Tag Team divisions are really enough.

-World Tag Team -World Women's -World Television Yeah, 4 belts is fine and those would be neat to have.

-World Tag Team -World Women's -World Television That'd be my guess. Cody's talked about how AEW isn't going to have a roster near WWE's size since it has meant so many of them don't get utilized, and besides, AEW will have presumably a weekly 2 hour show. Four is plenty.

I'd say for the moment should just focus on men's and women's along with tag titles for each, and then worry about midcard belts a year or two down the line.

I'm of the thought maybe introduce a TV title later
Also they should introduce a 25/8 title for no reason

I figure they are probably doing a gradual launch on the belts anyway, especially if they want any of the titles to be able to main event a show (which was definitely a promise made during one of the panels at Starrcast), so they can make sure that each title gets crowned in a main event position.

I don't mind there being a lot of belts, just so long as they manage to make them each feel significant and the audience can figure out what they're there for.
Besides a women's and a set of tag belts, I could see a TV title if just because it's the main type of belt WWE isn't using right now, plus there's a chance AEW might run with a sort of rotating lower card, so it'd be fun to see a wide variety of challengers with that in mind. Otherwise I think there's the possibility of some kind of junior heavyweight/cruiserweight/etc. title, but I'll put my money on the TV title concept, why not.

As a mass of people were waiting nearly 45 minutes each for their Ubers after D.O.N. I spoke to someone closely affiliated with the company and he told me Tag and Women's were next. There was zero mention of a midcard or cruiserweight title of any sort.

I know Tony Khan and Kenny Omega have both discussed this and have said they dont want too many belts because you dont want the belts to lose meaning. I'm betting you have 3 singles titles (world, mid card, and eomens) then a men's and women's tag match

With Cody being old school like he is, I imagine a Television title wouldn't look out of place. Just as long as they keep it to about 4-5 titles, and avoid falling into the WWE trap of the titles being meaningless because everyone has one.

Women's and tag are certain to come at the same time as the world title (matches/tournaments for both at AI2?) Midcard belt probably will come around xmas time when their roster is beginning to be established at different places on the card and is expanded somewhat. I wonder if US/IC/TV names for the belt are all copyrighted and they have to think of something new.

I'd want ideally the world title, the women's world title, and the world tag titles at least for the first year. It'll force them to focus on a lot of the talent that they have.
I also hope that we can get inter-gender and women's teams challenging for the tag titles to further add novelty and appeal to them as the sort of cross roads between the two respected divisions. I don't see why not. Imagine any tandem of the Joshi talent we saw last night, for example, having a match with the Lucha Bros or the Young Bucks.
It'd be nuts.

I’d like for them not to have any singles titles other than the world as it will force them to develop stories instead of using meaningless titles as a crutch, everyone should want the top belt, why would anyone settle for a midcard title?

I can see the tag titles being the main hook of their first TV episode. Clearly, tag team wrestling is going to be a major part of the promotion, and I would say they may put the tag titles on the same level as their heavyweight title.
A women's title and maybe a men's midcard will probably be added. But that should be it. No matter the temptation, don't just have titles for the sake of it. Don't just have them because you know there are some guys in the company who deserve to hold one.

Agreed. Plus this would allow for other accolades to stand out more. If wrestlers carried around trophies from a tag or tourney series win for a few weeks, it would mean something.

I want the tag team titles to be as they sell the bucks: They treat The Young Bucks as lesser single talents than Kenny/Cody/Pentagon/Fenix. But they sell the fact if any of these guys teamed up,The Bucks can defeat any combination of then. THAT is what I want of tag team champions.

I want to see a Hardcore Title.
Havoc, Ambrose and potentially Harper wrestling in Death Matches would be epic.
Also they need a TV title IMO.
