I think one of the greatest honors a celebrity or athlete could have is to be a Make-a-Wish visit. Out of all the things someone, especially a kid, could want before they could die is for you to visit them. That would touch me in such a profound way and John Cena having done it so many times just goes to show how beloved he is by these kids. Cena having done it so much strikes me as he's the kind of person who grasped the gravity, the weight of it, and realized that he was the sort of person who could carry the weight of that responsibility. His work ethic and dedication are something to behold and strive for. I think it takes a lot of character to take that level of responsibility on.

This is why I couldn't be too annoyed when he was all over WWE TV. He's too nice of a guy to be that annoyed with. I can't imagine what seeing all these sick kids does to him emotionally, though. It would make me cry all the time. And that is why I won't go to wrestling show and boo the super-face that most of the kids love, no matter how lamesauce their booking is. To us, John Cena is an actor playing a role. To a kid, he's a superhero. It'd be like seeing Iron Man in real life and booing him.

Stuff like this was what got me attached to Cena the human being, and why I cheered him so hard during the height of SuperCena booking. Him being a fantastic performer is a plus.
