They already said there will not be a ton of home arenas. It will be a weekly TV show, with few house shows and occasional PPV's. Quite honestly, 6 PPV's a year is more than enough. Yeah, no house shows, but the weekly TV needs to happen somewhere. The question is where.

I'd love to see someone run the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center Auditorium, where Takeover: Dallas was held. Place is round so if they set it up right the visual would be amazing.

If they do Indianapolis, the Indiana Farmers Coliseum is a decent venue to aim for, with a 6,500 attendance configuration. It's been recently renovated, too, and regularly hosts events.

I think completely dropping house shows would be a mistake. They’re a great way to develop smaller markets. I certainly wouldn’t be doing a WWE schedule, but I would absolutely sprinkle some house show tours around to help build the fan base. For example, one weekend a month do a Friday, Saturday, Sunday loop and promote the hell out of them
Aggressively targeting underserved WWE markets is a key to their long term growth.

Joe Louis arena is being torn down but I've always loved shows at the Hammerstein ballroom

Better to sell out a small arena, and have fans clamouring for more tickets, than struggle to sell a bigger arena. So yeah, start on the small side of things, and see what the regular demand is like before getting too ambitious.
The Cow Palace is a big arena, it seems, but its connection to wrestling history is strong, and I imagine that's something the AEW guys would like. I could see Cody and the Bucky pushing to run shows there.

Wherever they go, to me, it's the AEW Zone.

The Anaheim Convention Center has a 7,500 seat arena that could make for a nice venue if they can't run the Pond. It's also literally across the street from Disneyland and wrestlers sure do love themselves theme parks.
