Are there any inclinations or rumors floating around on who would have been booked to win the Double or Nothing Casino Battle Royale had Adam Page not been in it and instead wrestled his originally scheduled match against Pac?
Also, did they only add the "future title shot" stipulation after the Page vs. Pac match was called off? (Assuming they then shifted the Hangman to the pre-show and penciled him in to win.)

The answer to a question like this from a booking standpoint is: it doesn't matter. Because once one thing got changed, the rest of the plans past that potentially also got changed. What's clear from what they did do on the PPV is that they do plan to focus on guys like Jimmy Havoc, MJF, and Jungle Boy, since they all came out and got face time on the PPV during the Bret Hart/belt segment. Perhaps it would've been one of them, but we'll never know.

I'll wager MJF would've won, though given how much they featured him they might've given it to Luchasaurus to keep the heel from winning. But yeah, the title shot was only added once PAC pulled out, the thinking seemed to be that PAC/Hangman and Jericho/Omega would function a bit like the semi-finals of a title tournament.

I'm wondering if MJF would've won the Battle Royale, then Omega would've beaten Jericho, and we would've had MJF/Omega for the AEW World Championship.

I think the stipulation was originally that the winner would get the first title defense, but the PAC situation changed it to the winner getting in the first title match.
If that's the case, I would see MJF winning it as he had the highest profile of anyone confirmed for the match going in.

everyone saying it would've been MJF is smoking crack. if you were even paying halfway attention to Being the Elite, you know who the obvious winner was gonna be: Michaelf-ingNakazawathe entire match was going to be one big rib on Matt Jackson. open your eyes, people!

I think Luchasaurus would have thrown MJF out, and gotten a contract out of it.
