Concepts you would like to see in aew

What are some concepts you would like to see in aew. One that I always loved in wcw and I believe was a dusty creation was battle bowl. Another I love is to have the announcers on a podium further away from the ring ala how nitro was.

Also, Cody recently got some of the old Dusty gimmick trademarks, so it is not out of the realm of possibility for something to get booked.

Once TV starts I would like backstage promos to be played while a jobber match was going on like they used to do in 1980s WWF.

I think it adds to the story and gives a chance for the characters to shine. Also, use jobbers. Don’t have wrestlers square off until the big fight.

Matches lose a great deal when both guys have faced off and been pinned before meeting.

I want to see a lot of dated conventions done away with. If it seems stereotypical, or unintentionally hokey, I don’t want it. I trust these age-average of guys to come up with new formats.

I also want UFC/New Japan type post-match interviews too. I want weigh ins. More in depth videos of different types of training.

I want someone, anyone, to bring back Pure Wrestking rules. It was one of my favourite aspects of old school ROH, and if they're not gonna do it anymore, then AEW should.

Moral consistency with babyfaces and heels. I want the words "whatever it takes to win" and "make an impact" barred from TV.

If Kenny Omega decides to be an asshole and rake the eyes of an opponent, I want the Bucks calling him out on it and telling him he's being an asshole. I want his opponent being a smug jerk if a babyface has to cheat to win a match, and I want the babyface to be conflicted about it.

Once a weekly TV program is squared away, a yearly G1-style tournament for the heavyweight and tag divisions. A lot of good drama can be pulled from one.
