Is he actually a wrestler, or is he more like a fitness coach for the PC? I ask because I really like this dude. Does anyone follow him on IG? His social media game is extremely strong and he is insanely entertaining. I saw him at an Evolve show and he was the best thing on there. If he shows up on an NXT house show, he is typically the one of the highlights. However, he has never made it to TV full time and has been signed forever. What is the deal with him?

I don't know. Although if he ever made actual TV appearances, people would be drawn towards to his social media antics, which while not blatantly racist as Lars Sullivan, present a lunkhead bodybuilder who has opinions that fly with men's right groups.
However, since his sole NXT appearance was to be decimated by Joey Samoey, I doubt he'll go beyond Evolve shows.

I’m guessing his recent team up with Riddick Moss as The Outliers with Robert Strauss as their manager is what finally gets him on the regular NXT roster.

He likes using the phrase "soyboys" a lot. That warrants a Lars Sullivan comparison? It's a bit of a politcally loaded code word. But he could be using it ironically, whatever his opinions really are: it is a very silly word.

He likes using the phrase "soyboys" a lot. That warrants a Lars Sullivan comparison? Oy... Look, here's the thing; the problem with a guy like Dan Matha is that, while his issues aren't going to be as obvious as a person like Lars, he comes off as a men's right activist considering how heavy handed he goes about using the term. The term "soyboy" is used to insult people you don't agree with or of lesser stature, based upon bulldink that bodybuilders came up with when word came around through the blogosphere about soy proteins making a form of estrogen, and rather than looking up the full details of this report, they just put two and two together and decided that soy made men girly. Later, the term became adopted as an insult amongst MRAs since it sounded good. If you look at his usage of the word in his tweets, they are essentially used to talk about how awesome an alpha he is compared to the betas he has to endure every day. I'm going to stop right there to avoid making the mods have to do any more work than they should, and to avoid their ire.

His social media is mostly in character and is a far cry from Lars Sullivan’s antics from before he even thought of entering the wrestling business. Bad comparison. And don’t be all “I am not going to say anymore to get the mods involved” when you are the one who brought it up in the first place.

Matha’s whole gimmick is using alt-right terminology; doesn’t take Columbo to parse what he means.

As you can see, the real deal with Dan Martha, is that he's a NXT superstar. He's in his early thirties, is unmarried, and currently resides in Orlando. Thanks for writing

Rick Rude used to call people fat, out-of-shape, Minneapolis meatheads.
