How much would be too much? TNA's best days were when they have a fully established roster that they mostly self created. The times everyone hated the most were when they overloaded the roster with old WWE/WCW guys during the Hogan era.
The Revival would be great, but I honestly don't want to see a plethora of WWE midcarders in this company.

Yeah I'd avoid non main eventers really. They should stick to people WWE don't actually want to leave like Ambrose. If they released No Way Jose or Mojo Rawley then nah. Maybe some "underused" guys like Rusev or Cesaro if they got the chance but they should be very careful and not just sweep everybody up for the sake of it.

They shouldn't sign Hawkins

It's less about the talent themselves and more about whether or not they would have a creative direction for the talent that didn't completely throw things into chaos. I'm cool with them bringing anyone in, but for the love of God, don't follow the TNA mistake of signing ex-WWE guys without a plan just so you have them.

Of the rumored leaving/wanting to leave WWE folks I would just take Harper, Sasha and The Revival.

They could take a couple, but I do hope they wouldn't grab just anybody, especially since it's not like MLW, ROH, or Impact, maybe even NJPW, would take some of them.
...grab Rusev if he becomes free, though. He's probably even more of a poster child for "should be THE guy but constantly having his thunder stolen" than Ambrose was.

If AEW signs Mike Bennett I seriously might have to evaluate whether I want to watch come October. I would sign the obvious like The Revival, Rusev, Cesaro, etc.

No idea about contracts so here’s a few WWE guys I’d LOVE to see in a change of scenery...
Randy Orton Daniel Bryan Luke Harper The Revival The Usos Gallows/Anderson
In terms of former WWE guys...
Ryback CM Punk Matt Sydal Austin Aries KENTA

For all I know she could be marvelously content but I see similarities with Ambrose and Asuka. Neither has been treated particularly badly, they've been pushed well and given titles but they both like to express themselves creatively and push the envelope with their characters so much as Ambrose hated being the 'wacky hobo' I wouldn't be surprised if Asuka is fed up of "HAHA! You're going to be our crazy foreign lady who shouts in foreign! That's good shit!"
She'd be great momentum for the woman's division just as Moxley has been for the mens, Asuka v Kong on PPV is a draw, Cody wouldn't give an eff that her English is accented and so on. Hopefully she keeps quiet and allows the contract to expire instead of being vocal like Sasha (who has a while to go) and may be out of luck.

Ryback CM Punk Matt Sydal Austin Aries KENTA They shouldn't let Aries anywhere near the company. Dude is too toxic to have backstage no matter how good a worker he is. Not massively keen on any of the WWE roster to be honest short of Asuka. Take some time to build your own guys and get them established.

Anyone that has a genuine want to prove themselves and shows initiative and that they give a damn more than "It's someplace to wrestle/collect a paycheck".
Like, Moxley had ideas going into AEW, he was passionate, he wanted to be there and he wanted to try things. That's the type of person you want to sign.
They may not always be a slam dunk. But like the old saying goes, if it's real, it'll make people feel something real.
