I really enjoyed that match tonight with Velveteen Dream.
He has has a passion, and a talent that WWE should recognize. It was pretty cool seeing an arena full of peoole, shouting for him.

Guy proved last night he should've at least been IC Champ on the main roster.

Breeze is one of the best all-round talents in the company, and I'll fight anyone who says otherwise. The guy has it all - looks, charisma, wrestling ability, athleticism, a good understanding of psychology. Seemingly, the only thing he lacks is a couple of inches of height, and that means Vince just can't take him seriously.
I'm really pleased he got this match to prove how good he is, and resurrect his career (at the ripe old age of thirty one). Hopefully it's an indicator that some people in the company value him as highly as they should. I think he should have won last night, and I wouldn't be against him getting an NXT Title run at some point.

I’m a bit disappointed he’s been thrown back to NXT.
Although I like NXT and think the matches there are fantastic, it has to be seen as a demotion to Breeze.
He’s got everything to be a success on the main roster. That’s what angers me.

NXT is meant for guys to figure their shit out which includes vets. NXT was built on guys returning and getting better and he should look at it the same

I dunno, maybe it's just me, but while he looked great in the match, it looks like WWE main roster really dimmed his shine.
Like the swagger he had isn't there...the dude used to ooze charisma, he had confidence in his eyes, and now it's not there.
I hate what the main roster does to people.

Maybe Breeze asked to go back.
I mentioned this in another thread, but Breeze once responded to a fan on Twitter who said he was being wasted with, "Yeah, I just checked my bank account. I'm good."
I am a fan of Breeze, and I think he could be like HBK with the IC title, but I think that response bit him in the ass. How you feeling now, Tyler? Didn't like sitting in the back all night anymore? Asked to get sent back down to the "minors?"

Asked to get sent back down to the "minors?" I remember that. Being a massive fan of his work, that kinda disappointed me. It showed a lack of ambition IMO. If he’s just happy to collect a paycheck, perhaps his drive just isn’t there. And the higher ups pick up on this and push someone more hungry. Breeze is everything I love about wrestling. Good in the ring, colorful gimmick, great entrance music and basically he just gets what being a superstar is. Some wrestlers have it, and some just don’t. It’s just the whole “living and owning the gimmick” thing I love. I don’t like wrestlers who play themselves. It’s entertainment. I don’t pay to see Johnny Depp be Johnny Depp. I pay to see him be Jack Sparrow, Willy Wonka, etc. Thats what captivates people.

Asked to get sent back down to the "minors?" I think he did ask to go back, at least indirectly. During the Superstar Shakeup, he made noises about a change coming, and he's mentioned more than once on UUDD that he'd like to go back to Smackdown (because Raw sure as shit wasn't using him). That didn't happen, then Tye Dillinger (Tyler's close friend) got his release and obviously set his sights on AEW. I think Tyler may have had conversations with people about either being given something to do or he'd ask for his release too. And Triple H, who clearly values him, apparently offered him the chance to go back to NXT and actually wrestle. Which fits Triple H's plan to put NXT on an equal footing with the main roster. Regarding his crack about his bank balance, I'd like to think that's part of the coping mechanism he and others have clearly developed to deal with their pointless main roster existences. He's joked about being exclusive to Main Event and made pointed, self-deprecating digs at other people over their lack of TV time.

See how it is going forward, I'm hoping that's just psychology, since that's the whole point of the story they're telling at the moment. Hopefully soon in a different angle he can get the aura back.

Asked to get sent back down to the "minors?" I get where some felt it made him look complacent, but before he got called up, it's not like he wasn't putting people over, anyway. He was not a top guy, but the guy who had great matches with the top guys... who always handily defeated him. So, his response made sense at the time. He was getting paid more to wrestle in front of more people and lose about the same amount. This was also pre-Fashion Police, so he hadn't had a hot act torn away from him yet. So yeah, by the time he went back, I'm sure frustration had set in after WWE decided to reward him for getting over by taking him and Fandango off of TV for weeks at a time even before Fandango got injured.
