May not be the technically best, but I love both the original Yu-Gi-Oh! and Martian Successor Nadesico's over the original Japanese VA.

Pany and Stocking with Garterbelt works a lot better in English, IMO.

Persona 4:The Animation, mostly due to Johnny Yong Bosch killing it as the voice of protagonist Yu Narukami.

I generally watch dubs more than subs anyway, it's a convenience thing, but some examples I can think of off the top of my head are...
A Silent Voice FLCL Princess Principal (actually inclined to think this show would make vastly less sense subbed) The Promised Neverland (the sub is great too) Steins;Gate Your Name

The fan dub of that Japanese Super Mario Movie from the 1980s is actually really good for what it is.
On the other side of dubs you have the car crash that is Transformers: Headmasters.

Cowboy Bebop is #1 for me. As someone who speaks both languages I tend to not give a shit either way, I just go for whatever is easiest for me to get my hands on, but I refuse to watch the Japanese version of Cowboy Bebop. One of my biggest gripes with Netflix Japan is that while it actually offers Cowboy Bebop, it only offers the Japanese version, no English dub, which is like a monkey paw wish. I wanted to watch the show again but after discovering that I just didn't bother.

Persona 4:The Animation, mostly due to Johnny Yong Bosch killing it as the voice of protagonist Yu Narukami. JYB usually kills it in anything he is involved in Code Geass is another one he is in which he does a great job with Lelouch

Ranma 1/2 has an excellent English dub which I prefer over the Japanese voices. Same for the Dragon Ball series.
The best dub I've ever heard is from Record of Lodoss War. Beautifully done and spectacular series with unrivaled character designs to boot. Can't speak on the second series as I haven't gotten around to it at.
