www.spectrumcentercharlotte.com/events/detail/wwe-clash-of-championsKofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler Becky Lynch vs. Lacey Evans I realize there's very little chance they'll actually do either of these, but it's pretty sad / hilarious that with tickets about to go on sale on Friday that that's the best they could manage given how pitiful ticket sales are on Stomping Grounds.

They could advertise The Rock vs Godzilla for all the difference it would make.
I mean, really, this is the company where the shows are still being written while they’re going live to air worldwide. I highly doubt that they somehow have matches pencilled in three months ahead.

Too many PPVs is becoming a huge issue. They're almost every other week it feels like anymore between these filler B PPV's where nothing gets accomplished and the Saudi shit. They can't even fill the regular shows anymore, people don't give a shit about your PPVs when the shows and presentations have been so miserable. They've frankly earned the diminishing interest in the product.

What if Godzilla got the Godfather's pimp gimmick and was called The Godzilla and offered the Rock a string of dinosaurish monster prostitutes to not take the match? What then? WHAT THEN?!?

I still think that they were both the best options. Both got super over on the way to WrestleMania. They ran into the same problem that The Ultimate Warrior ran into right after WrestleMania 6. There were no credible heels to challenge them. A babyface champion is only credible and compelling if there is an equally credible and compelling heel challenging them. Dolph Ziggler and Lacey Evans are simply not those heels.

Well, then that changes everything. Pimpzilla would tear the roof off the place, both metaphorically and literally. It’d break both box office records and the actual box office building.

It's a few months away. The odds of these actually being the matches they get are slim to none and Seth Rollins just beat Slim up with a steel chair for happening to walk past Baron Corbin in catering.

I think it's going to change by the time September rolls around, I remember reading last year that for the TLC PPV it was advertised to be The Shield vs. McIntyre/Ziggler/Braun in a tables match and this was mentioned at least 2 months before the PPV went down.
Hopefully this isn't true as that sounds boring as hell, I figure both these feuds should be wrapped up by next month's PPV at the latest.

Adding the fact you have Corbin feuding with Seth doesn't spark anymore excitement either. All these talent on this roster and they manager to pick the worst challengers possible for the MEs.

And time they could have spent making Lacey look credible was instead spent making Lacey walk up and down the ramp. Becky no-selling her finisher in their first confrontation did her no favours either.

Well, this wasn't quite what I was expecting.
In that I was really sure Seth Rollins vs. Baron Corbin was going to be one of the matches, but they did everything else.

Glad to see the “no rematches” stipulation lasted about a week.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this was what we got. Especially if either of the champs lose to the challengers over the summer.
What else can WWE do? I’m pretty sure we’ve seen everything

Ticket sales are bad, what do we do?
The exact same thing, duh.
If they do another set of horrible rematches, then Vince is actually a stupid man. You can make all the jokes about him being juvenile and whatnot, but if he just keeps running the same shit no one wants over and over.
