Does Luger in the NWO Wolfpac count. More so the 98 babyface version.

Seeing Bam Bam Bigalow in WCW was always a strange fit for me.

If AEW doesn’t succeed, it’d be surreal to see Dean Ambrose show back up in WWE given how things have gone.

- Sandman (Hak) in WCW. - Warrior in WCW. - Even though it seemed to work out well, I initially thought it was weird seeing Benoit and Eddie in WWF, given that at the time they were known for their work rate while WWF wasn't exactly marketing that style then. - The NWO in WWF seemed totally strange to me, add in Bischoff being there too. - DDP was obviously mishandled in WWE but his WCW gimmick and personality would've been odd to see.

I would say the Wildman gimmick worked in that era, even though it was clear that the creative team tried to make him and Sable another Savage and Elizabeth. The Marvelous gimmick, while not bad, just didn't fit with Attitude during that time, especially with him taking a back seat to Sable and Jacqueline's feud. Hell, he seemed forgotten about by the time he was released.

I'm not familiar with his work elsewhere, but The Jackyl in WWF.

Sting in WWE. Too little, too late. Didn’t work at all.

Agree with Furnas and Lafon in the WWF.
Also agree with the Rock'N'Roll Express on the NWA/WWF 'invasion'... not just because of their age but their size, the WWF had been pushing a certain look for everyone for years and they didn't fit that mold.
Let's add the Nasty Boys in ImpacTNA.

Sandman anywhere that wasn’t ecw. He got exposed bad without his theme song and doing normal matches.
Booker T in TNA. It was a paid vacation for Book he just didn’t give a f***.
Jeff Jarrett in wcw, both runs.

A few of the 1996-1997 guys would have done fine just a few years earlier in WWF especially during the steroid trial when they needed some good workers who might not have needed crappy gimmicks.
I think Barry Windham was always out of place in WWF. Even as a kid watching VHS tapes in the early 1990s, I thought he didn't fit in his original tag team run. I was a huge Barry fan in WCW, though. He could come out in WCW, did a Jericho third debut in WWF spot (where Jericho just stood there like a fool with nothing to say), and I would have gone nuts enjoying it because Barry was awesome to me. But in WWF, neither he nor WWF could get him right.
Flair, as mentioned, in his 1991-1992 run was another one. He did pretty awesome but some of his feuds just seemed like WWF was throwing crap on the wall and whatever stuck they would go with. A lot of randomness there.

Gail's 2009-2011 WWE run, she always seemed like she was there either to leverage TNA, or the initial leverage not going the was she wanted.

Kerry Von Erich in the WWF. If they let him just be Kerry (I believe they did either his first or last couple of months), then he could have stood out more than he did. But they covered him in tassles and had him run around crazy, essentially making him an Ultimate Warrior knockoff while the real Warrior was still on the roster.

Bret Hart in WCW.
He looked jaded and unmotivated, which didn't help, and was still using all his WWE attire.

There’s so much you can do with a crackhead before he implodes.

Speaking of which I would say Val Venis who came in at the same time. fater and bald but yet wins against Daniels and is gone.
