Here's the thing. No one blames the talent for bad writing in WWE, everyone at this point except an small outlier of idiots try to blame anyone but Vince McMahon, claiming he's an absolute genius who's never done a thing wrong. I understand that for Seth Rollins it must be very frustrating to be the top guy on RAW during a Titanic-esque downswing in ratings and show quality. But to go out and try and push that this shit is the cream of the crop, that's absurd.
The show is bad. There's ways to hype it without pushing the shitty show as the best thing going. There's an infinite number of ways to promote your product instead of saying this dumb shit. And then to get pissed off that people start dogging on you because you put out this stupid tweet?
Fun match, and you should hype the guys on the Kickoff, but don't associate them with your gaslighting nonsense, because now they've got the stink of your behavior linked to it. Sure, he could be "working" people here. But what does that do? Seth Rollins proclaiming this cold ass product is the best thing there is going today isn't going to get one extra person to watch WWE. But it could turn some off. And that's something you don't f***ing need right now.
That's good, keep attacking wrestling reporters and fans, that's definitely going to draw people in... I understand the crew worked hard, but when your show falls apart 2/3 of the way through and turns into garbage, "the crew worked hard" means absolutely nothing. You're now fighting against the current in shit creek without paddle. You're not getting anywhere, and now you f***ing smell like shit.
I dunno what Osprey's gaining from this, maybe he and Rollins are goofing on each other, but if either one of them is "working", what for? It's not like they could have a match anytime soon. Just dumb, the both of them.
I guess what's baffling to me is, what's up Seth? Your life ain't so bad. You're at the top of the card, even if the card ain't so hot right now. And you're dating a beautiful, funny woman. Maybe put the Twitter down for a bit.

It's 2019, and calling internet fans "dorks" is still a thing?

He's trying to be a leader.... I can't blame him for that. I may disagree on some of the things, but this is what a locker room leader does.

It's not a treasonable offence to enjoy WWE in 2019. And certainly not when all you're really doing is praising the workers.
I get that it's not the 'right' answer, but that's opinions for you.

If Seth believes that then it's his opinion and I can't knock him for it. As for him getting onto a site who's laughing at him and another wrestler who's like "nah bruh you're wrong" then I'd expect him to clapback. People go at these wrestlers daily on the internet (this forum for example) so the fact he's stepping up and retaliating, yeah, I can't knock him. He can't stay silent when everyone's constantly going at him all the time, he's a regular person.
Do your thang bruh bruh. While I disagree hey keep doing you Seth.

I can understand his frustration, but venting like this at the fan base isn’t the way to deal with it. To steal a line from the Rock, it doesn’t matter what Seth thinks about the product; it’s what the fans think. And the fans left a half empty arena and were chanting AEW last night. There absolutely is amazing talent on the WWE roster that do deliver every show, but that isn’t who the fans are yelling at.

I don't think anyone doubts the wrestling ability of the current WWE roster. They have countless men and women who are absolutely kick ass in the ring.
Of course last night they showcased a couple of wrestlers who suck in the ring, Lacey and Corbin, but that's another talking point.
The issue is the writing, the production and the storylines. They are garbage, it's not the wrestlers fault but that's how it is.
I think Rollins is taking the severe and deserved criticism of current WWE personally because he's the top guy right now and he must feel like he has to defend the boys and girls. I totally get that, but he should know nobody is blaming the talent for how awful the product is.

He's trying to be a leader.... I can't blame him for that. I may disagree on some of the things, but this is what a locker room leader does. I imagine that he is being treated pretty well in WWE, works hard, and sees his fellow performers working hard as well. It probably pisses him off to read all of the negativity on the internet directed toward his peers and the company. This is him giving his opinion.

I actually really like this. All you ever see when you look up wrestling on the internet is people shitting on WWE. (Including me!). Just look on here. I like here cos it's mostly just silly and people are hilarious and don't take it TOO seriously but it's still mostly negative threads about how awful everything in WWE is. Twitter is full of people constantly shitting on WWE. As a wrestler is must get so frustrating. I know everyone talks about how there's "bad morale" in WWE and everyone wants to leave but I like Seth saying hey f*** this we're actually really good wrestlers and to actually see someone who IS happy and proud of it.
He's not saying the writing is the best (although he might believe that too) but he says best "wrestling" and pointed out the 205 match. Most people would agree that in terms of the werkratez it's a pretty good era right now in spite of the bad stories.
It seems the only way to get wrestling fans online to like you is to sarcastically take digs like Rusev or Big E (which I find hilarious too tbh) but it's kinda silly really. Like LOL LOOK HOW BAD THE COMPANY I WORK FOR IS LOL. DON'T WE SUCK, YOU GUYS?! and I don't think that's helpful either.

Kudos to Seth for being the champ and trying to be a leader. He's entitled to take up for his company given how hard people constantly go at him.

I get where he is coming from and I do not blame him...he is the face for better or worse of a company that is (rightfully) being shit on for it's stale product.
Only gonna get so much worse once AEWs weekly TV starts up.

Guy is proud of his co workers and is publicly praising them and putting them over for doing a good job in his eyes.
What a douche. Can’t we go back to the days of Hogan saying Kidman couldn’t headline a flea market?

He just stated his opinion off the rip with no particular trigger. Then when people came at him he told a wrestler from a diff company that a WWE guy is better and told a newz site that made fun of him to shut up. He's not picking on @briebellafan2000 and @corbinrulez4eva telling them to go to hell if they don't love double double E.

I just see this as another tactic.
When morale is low, you want someone near the top of the company to say everything's fine.
And honestly, I've worked many jobs where you have a few people who nobody really messes with, who feel they have carte blanche and they're good at what they do, who constantly heap praise on the company. While people who are underneath them and constantly catch hell even when they're trying their best, say it's the worst.
I don't know how much of this Seth actually believes, but given his position in the company... I could see him having far more belief in these words than most.
Besides, I'm sure he's been pressured to be the ambassador for the company as they're still keeping Roman in a reduced role, and what are you going to say? "I'm the champion, I'm the top face, I've had an amazing run in this company. But yeah, it definitely sucks."
It's really no different than things Roman, Cena, or the rest have said at times. Just we take more umbrage with Seth saying it because 1. it IS more harsh and directly calls others out... 2. Most of us still view Seth as Tyler Black, the indie guy, so to see him back the WWE Machine over any other company still feels weird.

Can’t we go back to the days of Hogan saying Kidman couldn’t headline a flea market? WHAT PART OF "CRUISE OR WAIT" YOU DIDN'T UNDERSTAND, BROTHERJACKDUDE?!?! But seriously, Seth is just doing the top guy thing Flair & Race used to do: put over the Roster.
