Crowd was into it and Taker's punches still looked good. Big boot looked good too. With Drew bumping and selling it should go OK. The Goldberg match died because Bill knocked himself loopy on the ringpost, the first part of it was fine.
I really wish they'd do something interesting with Undertaker if they're gonna use him. So many fresh opponents he could face, but they go with the most boring/lowest potential match possible.
Honestly, I think Taker is so broken down that they don't want to go with the interesting scenarios (Styles, Rollins, Bryan, etc.) because it would never live up to the hype. However, they think they can protect the guy's aura by having him go around five minutes against Rusev, Cena, Goldberg, or putting him with old opponents in front of international markets that might be more forgiving (HHH/DX tag) of his faults.

I will give them credit for one thing. At least Roman was getting his ass whooped by Shane and Drew, making a partner necessary. I will never forget a few years ago, John Cena beat up Miz and R-Truth at the same time. Then, inexplicably, he decided that his rival, The Rock, was the only one who could help him beat those two. The entire wrestling world was like, "You were doing pretty good on your own!"

Don't forget Roman feuding with Jericho and Owens when Roman would kick both their asses every RAW, just for Cole to question about Roman overcoming the odds lol.

I was actually fine with the Cena match last year. They did the typical Undertaker match with the usual spots that only went about 5 minutes, he looked good, and it did a lot to erase the bad taste the Roman match left in a lot of people's mouths. As someone who's been a fan since he first came in in 1990, it felt like the perfect swansong for him. Then they brought him back for GRR for the Rusev match, and that was fine, albeit unnecessary. But then the last two Saudi shows happened, and...ouch. So I don't know about this.

It really is amazing how WWE has not only done the thing they constantly mocked WCW for in always bringing back the old guard and not making new stars, but have like... done it a million times worse than they ever did.
