That's 4 years, 1 month, 1 week and 2 days. Wild. In the in the post-WrestleMania period (since WM1 in 1984) only 4 other WWE Superstars have accomplished this.
- Triple H - John Cena - The Miz - Hulk Hogan
Add that to Kofi's list of accolades. Dude's ranking up so many stats. I'd love to see a heel Kofi down the line who's basically that cocky sports all-star who's always gaining stats.
Finally peep this dope promo from Kofi last night. On fire.

He’s also on a whopper of a TV win streak right now. In the age of 50/50 booking, stringing together 20 straight wins on the main roster is miraculous.

Kofi was already there, but the past few months have really cemented him being in this position where he by all rights should eventually go into the Hall of Fame twice, both solo and with New Day.

He's really going to be a Hall Of Famer at the rate he's going. His run in the WWE, a place he may never leave, is impressive to say the least.

Been beating the Kofi drum for years and it's amazing seeing him just building up all these numbers and accomplishments. Dude's amazing and while my interest is at its lowest point possible it feels so good seeing him in that place.

Kofi has done a quiet Jeff Hardy esque rise to the top. Just keep racking up belts and wins to the point of "holy shit! This guy has won ALOT."

I figured Edge would be on that list but I guess a lot of his title reigns were short. That's huge though.

It's amazing what he is accomplishing. I never thought he had main event in him.

From that Gauntlet match that started all this right up to now, Kofi has been the best booked wrestler in the WWE since, genuinely, the last decade or so.
I rag on the WWE booking as much as anyone but I have to give them props for how well they've booked Kofi this year. Dude feels like a bonafide main eventer now, not just one who is in the main event cause they're champion and will slip back into the midcard as soon as the reign is over e.g Jinder

What I like about Kofi's run is they are actually having a champion WIN matches. So it makes him look good, the title look good and whoever eventually beats him look good.

Yeah that's a good point. Kofi's rise reminds me a lot of those other acts who get the world title years down the line. Yeah it took 11 years but he's made it work.

He was already HOF talent before the WWE title but adding that added his name to the list of Legends
If he can continue to retool he'd probably just like Edge in regards to having this versatile career and still having a good amount of WWE champ runs but even if Kofi only got this one run he is fine
In a time where it seems like everyone has had a title you almost forget Kofi is really hardly without a title in some sort and this includes him not winning the IC or US title in years which he can easily do again once he drops the WWE title
One of the most underrated decorated champs they had

Kofi's had a sick run in terms of numbers and actually looking strong, but a lot of me feels like he's still really lacking in actually feeling like a main event champ because all his challengers have been dudes that lose literally everything. Like, it's getting really difficult to not still think of him as a midcard guy when all he's been doing since beating Bryan is stomping washed midcarders like Owens and Ziggler. Hell, his next challenger is probably his least credible one yet. I like Samoa Joe as a wrestler but, come on, the dude is a f***ing loser beyond belief. I know that they're just filling time until Big E turns on him, but still. Give him some challengers that haven't been chewed up and spat out with little to no rehab by literally everybody.
