DeAndre Jordan signed a 4 year and $40 million OOF, that's expensive for a backup and maybe an occassional starter out his prime Edit: KD and Kyrie are taking less than max so Jordan can get his money Say what you want about the NBA, but their brotherhood is getting guys stupid money. I don't even want to think how badly a 34-year old DeAndre Jordan fits this evolving game. LeBron and Wade did it for Bosh so he could get the max as well |

They don't occupy the same space Both guys can knock down a mid range shot and Horford is a better 3 point shooter but Embiid can knock it down as well Both guys get their blocks and know how to play help defense as well |

They’re gonna be an interesting team. He played PF a lot in ATL but hasn't as much over last 3 years Both guys are nimble but having two big men at this point in the league is a gamble plus a non shooter in Simmons who will clog the lane which is my biggest worry |

Like, I'd buy that if they offered Durant the max and he decided to go elsewhere. That's the nature of free agency. But they didn't.
