Westbrook and his agent are talking to OKC about his future and possible trade options in the future His contract is f***ing insane so OKC is going to have to haggle with teams while also trying to get some worth. Idk if Westbrook has a NTC but if he does it makes it worse In regards to teams that could try to make this trade work. Maybe the Knicks is one if they decide to make that move. Probably will take something like Smith Jr, Knox, 2 picks and majority of those 2 year contracts with team options to get it done because OKC could dump them all in the offseason Denver is a playoff team I could see throwing their hat in their. Porter Jr, Harris or Murray and the expiring deal of Milsap plus picks could possibly get it done New Orleans is a team I wouldn't rule out either Man, I can’t imagine giving up anything of value for Westbrook... especially if you’re a super young team, or an already established team. The guy would be such a culture shock and could destroy anything you have already going. It would have to be a team in purgatory, not bad enough to be a tank contender, or not a young team on the upswing, but also not good enough to be established. I like the most unlikable duo in the league, he and Jimmy Butler but Miami has nothing to give up anymore.

The problem is even though Westbrook is a headcase he absolutely produces in regards to numbers. If Westbrook comes in with a different attitude he is no doubt helping a team into a championship contender AD just got traded for 3 first round picks plus talent, George just got traded for 5 first round picks and OKC wanted 4 first rounds plus Siakim and Vanvleet for George. If teams can get away with giving away a young rotation player and 3 picks for Westbrook they are doing it. It's all about risk vs reward and what Westbrook can bring to the team Now the problem is, if you're a role player you love him as a teammate but as now seen with two superstars in George and KD, he has a problem playin with guys that are his equal or in those cases better than him

He doesn't have anybody to distribute to. Even PG13s FG% wasn't great last year. I'm thinking Westbrook launches up double digit threes and shoots 40% from the field if OKC looks this way next season.

Never said it was a certain I said if I've been one of his biggest critics and put the blame on him for KD leaving. Westbrook is one of the great all time talents in the league but talent level can't make up for his horrible alpha mentality. OKC will not be able to fully rebuild until they get him off the team. They need a new identity and need to try to get a new star. It will take a few years but they have basically been throwing money at the wall for an average team for a few years and that can't continue

The Heat will keep an eye on Westbrook
They are a fit for him but they don't have the assets

Will be interesting to see how Paul George and Doc Rivers get along in LA. I’m sure Doc will keep his daughter far away from PG.

But his talent level is a way more than IT can imagine Talent rules the league and as long as Westbrook can play, people will put up with it But how long is he going to even be able to play at his current level? He's turning 31 this year and so much of his game relies on his athleticism, if I was trading for him I'd be concerned about that in addition to his locker room issues and general play style. I think he's the kind of player that could see a major decline quickly as he gets older. Which is one of several reasons I'm praying that the Magic front office isn't even considering making a move for him.

Luckily for him he's built like an animal but that aggressive style will age him faster. He will need to develop a consistent jumpshot sooner than later. His physical prime will last him to 34 if he is lukcy but teams will be weary Magic aren't making a move for him. It wouldn't put them over the top and it makes no sense for them to give up picks for him

Doc's daughter is engaged to Seth Curry, and George is married to that stripper. They've all moved on. Doc will be professional with George, he won't let George's past hurt how he handles the team.

Westbrook has the IT gene in him. He’s never going to change. Sad reality is Westbrook could be one of the greatest point guards ever if he played more intelligently. He is strong, athletic, quick, can pass, shoot, and isn't a bad defender either. He has all of the tools to be a true elite and he's more interested in stats than making his team better. Very sad state of mind and a waste of a remarkable talent too.

Very sad state of mind and a waste of a remarkable talent too. He can do most of those things. He gets D stats, but he's a decidedly bad defender going back quite a few years. He's also not a good shooter. You may say some of that is shot selection, but he's a career 30% from three, his FG% is trending down, and his FT% the past few years is Giannis-like. He has a lot of tools to be better, yes. But he also has some non ego-related deficiencies in his game.

Way I see it, the only team I could see Westbrook going to is the Knicks.
Knicks got burned thoroughly in free agency and the draft. I'm sure the Front Office is going to want to make a splash aisde from grabbing Julius Randle. They're also one of the few teams who could afford his contract.
Russ going East wouldn't be the worst idea in the world. We know he can't win in the West, so a change of scenery and opponents might do him some good.
