JR Smith was waived today by the Cavs and he WILL NOT go to the Lakers He'll fill out a bench somewhere, more than likely a contender

Ben Simmons signs the max extension with 76ers That's a lot of money to give to a player who has never made a shot longer than 22 feet from the basket. Yeah, for that kind of money, you could have Gordon Heyward.

Iβm not going to say Iβd rather have Gordon Hayward than Ben Simmons over the next five years, but you canβt fault the Celtics for thinking that contract was going to pay off. In his four seasons as a full-time starter in Utah, Hayward averaged 19 points, five rebounds, and four assists per game while shooting 44/36/82. He alone wasnβt going to win a championship but he, like Simmons, was capable of being a strong secondary option. I still want to see Hayward next season because from all reports, the catastrophic injury he suffered on opening night in 2017 was a two-year injury. He could still very well play like the Hayward of old in the upcoming season.

He could still very well play like the Hayward of old in the upcoming season. It was a no-brainer when he signed as most of their roster was cost-controlled players. But even pre-injury, there isn't much of a gap (if any) between Heyward and Simmons. Both are more 2nd options on a good team, Simmons is a much better passer and rebounder, Heyward is a much better shooter and defender. You can't fault the Sixers for giving him that money, because he's half the franchise and if they don't pay it, 25 other teams will. Granted, it's a lot of money, but in the NBA you're either maxing guys or like the Knicks or Cavs wishing you had good enough guys to overpay.

Rockets and Clippers are the ones who are in on Andre Igoudala Rockets need him in the worst way, but would also need to rest him a ton. Those knees are ancient.

Clippers would be able to accommodate him the most and allow him to rest and not weigh heavily on him meanwhile Rockets will most likely play him to the wheels fall off

Knicks sign Reggie Bullock to a 2 year $8.2 deal
His original $21 million deal was taken off the table after health concerns
All things considered Knicks got the good end of the bargain on that. Cheaper value and a trade target come the deadline

NBA draft bust Dragan Bender to possibly play in Russia
That was such a huge f***ing miss by Phoenix. At least with Orlando and Mario, he is getting chances elsewhere but I honestly can't remember a min of Bender playing in the league

Always on the brink of brawling the few minutes they shared the floor. Lmao

NBA draft bust Dragan Bender to possibly play in Russia That was such a huge f***ing miss by Phoenix. At least with Orlando and Mario, he is getting chances elsewhere but I honestly can't remember a min of Bender playing in the league Even bringing up Dragan Bender's name makes me realize how the Phoenix Suns have totally f***ed themselves over the past half-decade due to woeful drafting, almost always at or near the top of the lottery. Since the last time the Suns finished above .500 (2013-14), they've had the following draft picks: 13, 4, 8, 4, 1, 10, 11. With that cache of top picks, they've selected Devin Booker, Dragan Bender, Marquese Chriss, Josh Jackson, Deandre Ayton, Mikail Bridges, and Cameron Johnson. Booker was a hit and Ayton looks like he's going to be a very talented blue chip big man. But the rest? Yeesh. It also doesn't help that they'll be starting the 2019-20 season with their sixth head coach in the past five seasons.
