Herro should stay, but who knows? They might get overly eager about trying to contend the next 2 seasons. I think Herro is good, but I'm not sure if I could convince Riley he's good enough to not push more chips in on the short term. If it comes down to Herro I can see Riley trading him Ultimately, the Westbrook deal was way too pricey but they should find common ground on CP3. If not, Miami can still play the waiting game but Jimmy is not a young guy either so a move will come within the next season or twoΒ I don't appreciate the lack of patience in a lot of NBA players or NFL front offices as it pertains to head coaches. Who knows if Dirk ever gets a ring if he bolts after Nash and Finley leave? Toronto this year wasn't built like a super team and won. There is a real balance of power for the first time in a long time, and a great way to screw that up is more antsy power plays. This off-season was fun as hell, but it would get old quick if it happened again and again and again.

Sadly, in the least 10 years or so teams have put a four year window on things to see if it works or not. You can somewhat call it the LeBron effect as well since after his intial stop with the Cavs he's been a four year tour of duty every contract The "two man power trip" is here to stay for a little while which may give a team like Portland who has been patient slightly better odds. Draft picks is the name of the game right now

To think a lot of this craziness is because of Kawhiβs unassuming ass. Always them quiet ones you gotta look out for.
Gonna be funny seeing Rockets fans cheering Westbrook and vice versa.

Anthony Davis is going to have to wear #3 this season, what reaction is Davis going to get when the Lakers head to Charlotte during the season as #3 in Charlotte is associated with one name: Dale Earnhardt Sr.

Davis is wearing #3 next year. It's the number that he wore in elementary school.

I doubt anyone will actually care. Gerald Wallace wore #3 while playing FOR Charlotte and I'm guessing he wasn't the last one.

Per Etienne Catalan's Twitter account, who tracks jersey numbers for NBA players on the move, newly-signed point guard Terry Rozier III will wear no. 3 for the Charlotte Hornets this season. Link because I still don't know how to embed Tweets and I've only been on the forum for like 15 years: twitter.com/EtienneCatalan/status/1147723795542827008

Rich did not do what is best for his client and if I was the NBA i'd ask and see if this was true and what was the reasoning not signing.

I'm curious to see how much clout Rich retains after LeBron retires. I'm sure he can get some young kids to sign with him for the draft, but I'm starting to get the feeling that his influence is wearing on front offices and current players alike. Nerlens Noel just fired him too.

Nerlens Noel just fired him too. As long as he retains top clients he will be fine. He's got Draymond and AD about to get paid big time money but for his "lower tier" clients he's not doing much work. KCP got a come up from the Lakers to appease LeBron and Rich a year before LeBron even got there No doubt he will use his connection to LBJ as a hook to get people on the inside for sneaker deals and all that once he retires. The best thing that could potentially happen is LeBron gets his own spin off from Nike like Jordan does meaning he can have guys under his brand. I know his sneakers sell but they damn sure don't sell like Jordans

Morris went from a Championship contender in the Clippers, to a Playoffs contender in The Spurs... to the f***ing Knicks
I'd fire my agent too, lol

Ben Simmons signs the max extension with 76ers Heard he's been working hard on his jump shot too and is gaining confidence in it. We really need him to get it down, in the Playoffs he gets exposed without it

Ben Simmons signs the max extension with 76ers That's a lot of money to give to a player who has never made a shot longer than 22 feet from the basket.
