Well it helps we went through that same with Phil but from jump you could tell Magic was going to be a bad GM and he luckily has on his record he got LeBron to L.A. but even then I think LeBron comes to L.A. whether Magic was there or not lol Speaking of Dan, was he back on the radio today because after his rant a few days ago I haven't heard from him He came back yesterday. Took Monday's radio show off because he wasn't feeling it. He did tape Highly Questionable that day with his dad and Izzy Gutierrez, though. Yea, I noticed Monday he was off and i'm like maybe ESPN got up his ass about his rant but Dan has tenure so he says whatever the hell he wants and never gets fired lol so fair play to him Keith Olberman wishes he had the leash Dan has lol

The thing is we knew Magic was going to be bad Phil at least had the benefit of doubt and people thought he would be good enough and I personally thought he would at least borrow from how Pat Riley runs his team but nope he was a big f***ing flop to the point he was ready to trade the only good thing he did in Porzingis and even then with the way he acted at the end, he ended up only being a brief glimpse of hope before fading awayΒ Nah, everyone had their blinders on with Magic except for Knicks fans and Dan LeBatard lol Which still amazes me. I thought it was obvious based on how Magic spoke and handled business he had no clue what he was doing

You'd think. But people weren't objective when it came to Magic because they were blinded by his status as a legendary Laker and affable personality.

A OKC reporter thinks OKC should trade CP3 for Wiggins. Yeah, I don't see that happening. You're essentially hoping Wiggins has a resurgence like Oladipo did but Wiggins doesn't have heart and I rather get rid of the CP3 contract and get him off the books to someone else and not take back future money I gotta chime in here. I think you are 100% right on the money with Wiggins. Dude has a mountain of potential but appears to only have the heart/mind to get about 20% of it. Dude is frustrating as hell. The help the dude needs is psychological, not physical. I personally think he's a lost cause as a "Star" but still can be a good option to have as your third best guy or maybe the off-the-bench-points dude. But I'm not entirely sure his already fragile mental game could handle the "demotion"

The year he scored over 20 plus should have been his breakout year but yet once he got that money got lazy again

If so, this could totally change the upcoming CBA negotiation

If so, this could totally change the upcoming CBA negotiation Everybody pulls under the table deals and the owners nor players want to change that. The one thing they could say is if you aren't apart of the team you can't be apart of the official meeting which is sort of the case now like what they did with Magic however that didn't stop a phone convo. I believe when Boston was recruiting players a few years ago they had Tom Brady pull up. Stuff like that they could stop but it doesn't stop informal meetings unless you get strict about it in terms of phone convos and text must be turned over and no one is agreeing to that If anything what they will keep trying to do is cutting down the "dead time". Unlike MLB free agency, the NBA moves quick fast so their is chance they could make the time to get official deals on the table shorter as opposed to now where I think deals don't become official until 2 weeks after the start of free agency

Sixers signed Furkan Korkmaz to a two year and Trey Burke to a one year, filling out their roster depth
Good picks honestly since Korver passed. Burke's underrated and should do fine in rotation, Korkmaz is streaky and coming off an injury but had his moments, should provide depth and hopefully he improves. Could even be a trade piece later in the year if so.

Over a life insurance policy. She is crazy and deserves to be locked up for 30 years. I'll never understand the people who think it's a logical jump to make to murder someone over a money situation. Any situation, obviously, but the money ones stand out as actually calculated but missing any and all common sense or understanding of consequence. It reminds me of Rae Carruth. Need to get my money right, I better just kill this person. Smh.

Sometime ago, I basically wrote an essay on a past thread about the Clippers being a piece of shit franchise, how they were the original tanking team, then between Donald Sterling's cheapness and their horrible luck, so much that they can be considered cursed.
If you have the chance of getting Kawhi Leonard, you violate every rule there is in order to get him.

Teams were checking in on Pacers Center Myles Turner at the draft
It is said no one on Indiana roster is "untouchable" but the club rejected all offers and have no intentions in trading Turner

Yea, with them drafting Goga that pretty much seals Sabonis exit as he was going to cost them a lot of money Sabonis himself should bring a good haul but people went after Turner because he just signed that new deal last year and became a defensive force

Also, Westbrook team conference was last week which went under the radar and he said he will "sacrifice" for the team. I still think you need 3 basketballs on the court for him and Harden but we shall see

I still think you need 3 basketballs on the court for him and Harden but we shall see I still can't believe this happened. In a perfect world, they are a beast two man combo Both guys got great driving ability and are finisher so shit like Westbrook running down the middle and Harden cutting or working on his off ball movements and able to create space like Reggie Miller, Rip Hamilton, Ray Allen, Steph Curry, Klay Thompson etc would make him even more dangerous Same with Harden driving and Brodie cutting hard to the lane and you have another guy on the weak side in which he could Brodie can make that extra pass for an easy lay up What I expect is both guys running to the top of the key and shooting 3's or trying to overcompensate and no one getting the ball besides those 2
