Yeah I'm going to go out on a limb and say that 40-point game Kendrick Nunn put on didn't sit right with Dion and he's feeling threatened about his minutes. Honestly dude buys into his own hype way too much so he suck it up for all I care.

He got traded to the Heat on the idea that the Heat would be consistently making deep playoff runs and when that didn't come into fruition he didn't complain once. Kept being a real leader through all the struggles and even accepted potentially getting traded and moving into the second unit.

Dragic is a pro that really didn't get the love he should as a vet in the league He is an ideal co-leader next to Butler. I think Butler is too abrasive for his own good but Riley loves that shit so Dragic will be a nice balance as well as Haslem from Butler antics I have been saying don't sleep on the heat as a low key playoff team. Worst case scenario is they are 35-41 win team but that won't be the case next season as they should acquire a player

For the first time in about a decade, the NBA feels wide open, with multiple teams boasting legitimate chances at hoisting the Larry O'Brien Trophy at the end of the season. It's no longer a fait accompli that the Golden State Warriors will play a representative from east of the Mississippi. With that said, here are my predictions for the 2019-20 season.
EASTERN CONFERENCE
ATLANTIC DIVISION Philadelphia 76ers (1) Boston Celtics (3) Brooklyn Nets (6) Toronto Raptors (7) New York Knicks
CENTRAL DIVISION Milwaukee Bucks (2) Indiana Pacers (4) Detroit Pistons Chicago Bulls Cleveland Cavaliers
SOUTHEAST DIVISION Orlando Magic (5) Atlanta Hawks (8) Miami Heat Washington Wizards Charlotte Hornets
EASTERN CONFERENCE PLAYOFFS Philadelphia over Atlanta, 4 games to 1 Milwaukee over Toronto, 4 games to 1 Boston over Brooklyn, 4 games to 2 Orlando over Indiana, 4 games to 3
Philadelphia over Orlando, 4 games to 1 Boston over Milwaukee, 4 games to 3
Philadelphia over Boston, 4 games to 2
WESTERN CONFERENCE
NORTHWEST DIVISION Utah Jazz (2) Denver Nuggets (5) Portland Trail Blazers Oklahoma City Thunder Minnesota Timberwolves
PACIFIC DIVISION Los Angeles Clippers (1) Los Angeles Lakers (4) Golden State Warriors (6) Sacramento Kings Phoenix Suns
SOUTHWEST DIVISION Houston Rockets (3) Dallas Mavericks (7) New Orleans Pelicans (8) San Antonio Spurs Memphis Grizzlies
WESTERN CONFERENCE PLAYOFFS Los Angeles Clippers over New Orleans, 4 games to 0 Utah over Dallas, 4 games to 2 Golden State over Houston, 4 games to 3 Los Angeles Lakers over Denver, 4 games to 3
Los Angeles Clippers over Los Angeles Lakers, 4 games to 3 Utah over Golden State, 4 games to 3
Los Angeles Clippers over Utah, 4 games to 3

I’ve been up and down on the Kings throughout this offseason. I am currently down on them going into the season.
That said, I was never one who thought the playoffs were even possible. Last season they played over their heads before crashing down after the ASB... this season the goal is 500. I think they can get there.
The young guys have to keep getting better. Bagley needs to make a statement as the undisputed starter. Buddy cannot regress (this is my biggest fear into this season), and Giles needs to grow a new knee (this is doubtful).
500, 9th or 10th seed. And once again, “Maybe next season” but this year it actually means something.

That was an error, I meant to have Dinwiddie winning Sixth Man and Gordon as Most Improved. I flip-flopped them in the original post.

Maybe at the ASB at the earliest. He's still raw and they have Vuc and Gordon in the frontcourt so he can't work through a lot just in volume which he could if he were in, say, Brooklyn or Washington.

I think they trade Vuc finally at next season's trade deadline with 2.5 years left for a decent return. Bamba and Isaac take over then as the feature frontcourt, and Gordon could stay or go. They're gonna line up with a younger window at some point, but I don't expect it to happen this year.

I don't think anybody on that team will be there 3 years from now They might strike a jackpot with Fultz but if not they move on with no consequence. Issacs will be entering his 4th year next year in 20-21 and they have to make a contract decision on him and Bamba will be entering his 3rd They f***ed up by being a middling team and it may cost them 5 years

Everyone said that about his last contract as well, but it's definite this time. Gordon's deal runs out in 21-22, so he would be easy to move if they absolutely needed to. He's making reasonable money, some team out there would buy. But yeah, they're stuck in that weird in-between land where do you ride it out with your current best players (Vuc, Gordon) on a lower-upside window now, or do you move them in favor of guys who currently are significantly behind them but have higher upside? They have to make a call. You bought on raw guys whose development takes longer, but whose contract situations come up just as fast as guys who take less time to develop. I think at LEAST Isaac is on the team 3 years from now. He's a very good, if not elite, defender already. Worst case scenario, he turns out a 3 and D guy like a rich man's Danny Green. Best case scenario, he actually develops a game inside the arc an 18/7/3/2/2 player like what J Smoove was before he stopped giving a shit.

Yea, they had to sign Vic coming off his career season but they should look to trade him sooner than later which will be as soon as next season Gordon is a good energy guy who they can move fast. Might never reach his full potential but he can be a good glue guy for someone if they need him Right now, i'm sure they think they can possibly turn Issac into a Pascal Siakim type who developed quicker then people expected. Just a matter of patience. Same with Bamba who they would think should be a reliable shooting and blocking big man but as long as he don't get no burn he won't develop

People sleeping on my Raptors. Top 4 team in the East this year (barring injury).

Perfect. Exactly what I wanted at slightly more than Barnes. If he reaches the bonuses, all the better for everyone!

I’ll embed the tweet later but Amick has the contract at even better value for the Kings at 86million base, and declining over the years.
