I’ll embed the tweet later but Amick has the contract at even better value for the Kings at 86million base, and declining over the years. Sounds like he took a front loaded contract Front loaded with a lot of incentives. Only 86base with 20mil in bonuses for all-stars and finals appearances. Stuff that honestly doesn’t seem very likely. Lol — Seems the 94 from Woj is already adding on his easy incentives, one of which is top-10 three point percentage.

Lol Smart move by Vlade then Bagley and Fox aren't getting paid for a few years so let this boy feel big by earning $25-$28 mill these first 2 years before we pay him less on the backend and then pony up the max money to pay Fox than Bagley Keeps the long term cap in play while in short term Barnes and Hield are making their money Really smart play by Vlade using all his assets. Free agents won't come to Sac, so f*** it we will pay who we got and add role players until our two young studs become the next Bibby/Webber

Stuff that honestly doesn’t seem very likely. Lol I agree with you that it's not likely he gets a lot of bonus... but it's hard to fault a guy for betting on himself AND taking the risk of betting on his performance. I mocked him when he was asking for a huge contract but this is different. Now it's time to see if Buddy can do what he thinks he can do.

I mean, it’s been this way for a little while now, but Vlade definitely isn’t the village idiot at the GM’s table anymore.

Smart contract by Vlade. Framed it like he was giving him something but he’s earning it and will at least see half the money

Had some bold predictions earlier so will get some regular ones out the way
Western Conference: (1) LA Clippers (2) LA Lakers (3) Utah Jazz (4) Denver Nuggets (5) Portland Trailblazers (6) Houston Rockets (7) Sacramento Kings (8) San Antonio Spurs
Pelicans, Mavs and Warriors just miss the playoffs
Eastern Conference: (1) Philly 76ers (2) Milwaukee Bucks (3) Brooklyn Nets (4) Miami Heat (5) Boston Celtics (6) Indiana Pacers (7) ATL Hawks (8) Chicago Bulls
Honestly, until Durant comes back next year, everything after 2 is a toss up. Nets should be good with a deep team but Bucks and 76rs should be able to handle them. Knicks, Hornets, and Cavs are the only ones I write fully off of making the playoffs in the East
MVP: Nikola Jokic, Denver Nuggets - He played 80 games last year at 30 mins and still averaged 21, 11, and 7. If he bumps it up 5 more mins he may average a triple double and if Denver is close to first he wins the MVP Defensive Player Of The Year: Rudy Gobert, Utah Jazz - Draymond may come close and you can consider George and Kawhi but they will take votes from each other. Gobert locks down Rookie of The Year: Zion WIlliamson, NO Pelicans - Unless he has a injury plagued year I still think the voters give it to him. Ja should push hard for it tho Sixth Man: Spencer Dinwiddie, Brooklyn Nets - I think he would have won it last year if not injured. This year he should put it away as he plays clutch mins in the 4th quarter Most Improved Player: Markelle Fultz, Orlando Magic - The bar is so low for him, anything decent will put him over the top. Don't sleep on Tatum having a bounce back season and Porter Jr finally getting to show what he can do Coach of The Year: Lloyd Pierce, ATL Hawks - If he can take this young Hawks team to the playoffs when they are a year or two away I think he wins it. Steve Kerr if GS finishes in the top 5 in the West

Spurs re-sign Dejounte Murray for 4 years, 64 million. Great deal.

Spurs re-sign Dejounte Murray for 4 years, 64 million. Great deal. $16 mill a year for a potential impact player not a bad move At worst he flames out and is a bench player but that's not a lot of money to gamble on someone Pop clearly likes him and they feel comfortable enough in his full recovery that they know it will not impede his potential

Zion out already with a torn meniscus? Wow. Well that's horrible for him and New Orleans.
